Historyteach--I think it looks fine. I like seeing the finger dents. They show that you did it by hand as opposed to the crease having been done in the factory like most modern hats.

+1 I actually strive for a very obvious hand shaped look. Even though I may spend a lot of time getting the shape just right, I want it to look like I quickly bashed it into shape.

Kind of looks like knuckle marks in the pinches. Not every felt will let you achieve this look but I dig it when it does.

I wanted a kind of intense bash for my Strat.

I couldn't agree more, Tommy. :thumb:

Greg, nice bash in your Strat. That was the one done at JJ?

David, that Adventurebilt is stunning. Get some coffee in you......quick!

S4C, that Knox looks great! I like the severe curl at the back of the brim.

That was my thinking as well, I like it that it looks like I did it on my own, I guess I am just self conscious because I am a noob at hand bashing these hats. I either stick with what it came as or I keep it very simple so to play around with this one has been interesting.

Ordinary Guy, I read that to be, "Get those men a latte STRAT!" Like the jacket and hat together.

Akubra Stylemaster for this day, where it's starting to snow in NYC.

NYC – Welcome to the Strat Fest. Nice color. Now with the Stylemaster. I’ve got to get me a vintage Stylemaster. They are sooooo cool. Is that a newer version?

Alan – I think I’ll join you in the coffee and you’re looking good doing it, too.

Strapped – Nice Mad Ave. Love it with that vest.. Sharp.

Ordinary – Don’t you find Borsalinos to be really warm. They are my go-to on those super cold days.

Marathon this morning.

This isn't hat related, sorry. But I know many people check this thread. Anyone else having their browser tab hijacked the last couple of days while browsing the lounge? I've had it happened several times in the last 2 days. Just browsing threads and the Internet Explorer tab I'm in changes to something completely different.

This has happened on my home computer and my laptop. Not confined to just one machine.

Yes... I was just going to post the same security concern. And I use a Mac. Seems to be triggered when I search for a Lounge thread using Google and hit the found link.
