Go with the wide brim helmet. That brim is way too stingy for you.

Hatguy - I like the Greek Fisherman hat. I've always wanted one - just haven't got around to getting one yet. Reminds me of the Fiddler in "Fiddler on the Roof."
TJones - always looking sharp with a thin ribbon.
Charlie - I don't think I've seen the blue smoke color before. I like it. How wide is the brim on this one?

Wearing a modern Como.

Good morning, Andy! Funny, as I thought about mentioning the dimensions, but it was late, me tired... It's a 2-1/4", slightly dimensional brim. But remember, I wear a size between 7-3/4 - 7/8... that large size has an effect on the proportions. And thanks!

The Como is a winner on you, man!

Well done, Ebony. Superbly jaunty wide brim, my friend!

Dane, hatsRme, hatguy, Justin, CCJ, Richard, Andy, Thanks guys for the comments on my knock about OR project. I appreciate the compliments.

Justin, Love the hat coat combo! Where do you find those coats? I like that!
hatsRme, Your wife and VS Blue Smoke? I see that nice looking VS in the pic, but where's the wife? ;)
Andy, Nice looking Como! I like the brim on that one!
ebony, Love the Panama and the brim width! We have to wait a while for Panama weather here in Central Ohio.

I will definitely look into that ;)
Thank you for the kind words fellas!!

Tj, I usually stubble across my coats online. I remember you liked that red and black paid one I wore a while ago. If you go to eBay and look up Mackinaw, or hunting coat, many will appear.

Orange, great looking como!

ebony, great tilt on that Panama, very nice

AnA, great hat, look, and photo!

CCJ - I've seen a couple of Piaget's advertised on ebay.com, but not on the European equivalents, and always with a store's logo on the sweat. It might not be as European as it sounds - it could have been an attempt to cash in on the popularity of French and Italian cinema of the late 50's/early 60's (when I suspect your hat was made). It looks a nice hat anyway!

Andy - looking good in that Campdraft.

CCJ (again :) )- great hat and outfit.

Che - very cool. I'm going to have to give Mike a go.

g.d. - that Trinity looks great.

Thanks for the comments on yesterday's SAKS. After a couple of day's of wearing the shorter brims, I fancied a wider one. Another recent purchase from Liddleman - it's the Akubra RM Williams hat, that's been r-ecreased to essentially be a Campdraft:

Another great photo set of a great outfit, Richard. We should all hire you to photo us!

You're all looking quite gentlemanly and stylish this fine day. Cold pre-winter storm morning here this SuperBowl Sunday. Wearing my trust grey felt fedora and long wool trench coat and scarf for a more formal look.

Borsalinos, Dobbs, Panamas, Wonderful Sunday morning.

Just back from church in a Fed IV and a green long nap heathered Resistol for my son.

It's a sporting weekend. I don't have a football hat, but I do have a bowling derby hat which would look sharp with my high school football jacket (Stuyvesant H.S. City Champs 1969). Giving it a pre-game workout.

Andy - the Como looks good.

Ebony - lovely swoop.

AnA - Very sharp!

Hatguy1 - Looking warm in a nice looking hat. Thanks for the comment on the photos - it's only a cheap compact camera.

John - always good to see a Fed and the felt on your son's hat is a great colour.

Alan - that's a great looking bowler.

John, what a great memory you've captured in this pic. Love how your bow ties are color coordinated to your hats.

Richard, that is quite the outdoors look. I'm picturing a fine English fox hunt....
