Al, amazing and Fantastic collection. You look always sharp in your Straw's!

My youngest Son and I today! His last day of shool!

What a fantastic portrait, Manfred! Like father, like son...born hat wearers both!

AL - beautiful straws and great shots again.

Thanks, Richard! I live in my sombreros de paja toquilla during the Summers, which are all too fleeting. Terrific ensemble today.

delectans - very nice!

Thank you, Joel, and WELCOME!

David & GD - great hats and oddly I'm suddenly thirsty :)

Bowlerman - I'm an ex-pipesmoker. I used to love the occasional pipe, but when they discontinued Balkan Sobranie I spent a year trying the 'this is as close to the original' blend copies and got more and more disappointed, eventually to the point I stopped altogether.

Where is everyone this morning? lol

Yesterday morning, out with the family hitting a few of the antiques malls we frequented thirty years ago.

Up at the crack of dawn again today and enjoying the solitude and cool morning sea breeze.

Once each season we hold our Saturday morning Shabbat service outside in the Cleveland Metropark. I thought this past winter was bad, with all the snow and cold. But I think the 97% humidity today was a bit worse. Still, it's a lovely place to hold a spiritual service. The hat is an Akubra Banjo Paterson. And amazingly yes, I did get an Indy comment.

2 hours later and same question?

Al, envy your travels and fine lids. Lovely shot of the Optimo on a nice vessel. Look forward to your posts from Taiwan.

Gentlemen, whether straw or felt, everyone looks classy today.

Manfred--thank you, my friend. I'll have another Hefeweizen, with your permission of course!

Al, great shots as always, hope you're enjoying the SoCal weather. The Optimo is a sublimely beautiful hat.

John in Covina--I have a 50s Marathon with the liner removed for warm-ish weather, too.

A'n'A--seeing your Dobbs lately has got me on the lookout for my first homburg.

mayserwegener--nice soft gray Windsor--hope it won the battle with El Sol.

kolchak--yesterday morning was the coldest summer morning I can remember in San Francisco, after nearing 100 degrees the day before just north of the GG Bridge. The bowler is perfect for the setting.

BR--I vote for you as the classiest gent of the day. Beautiful Montecristi from Art.

Mike--lookin' good in the Milan, sir.

Cool enough for a lighter-weight felt here, so I ventured out in the Mallory "The Dallas".
