Rossolino/Trimble Beaver Quality

I took Tuesday afternoon off and spent a wonderful time knocking about with Lydia, wearing my Rossolino Milano/Trimble Beaver Quality Back Bow. Ryan joined us in the late afternoon after his school musical rehearsal to catch the Twin Cities premier of "The Book Of Mormon".

AL, I hope you took that letterpress home. It looks great with your Trimble. ;)

(Thanks for the many nice comments on my Tuesday Borso... much appreciated!)

Alive and amped, homburg looks good as is I like what you did to get a fedora look.
Open road this wk after much steam and a wider hat jack now have it fitting much better

David - I really like the color combo of your hat, coat, and scarf. Classy, as always! :yo:

Al - Your Trimble is a stunner! Glad to see it again. Great shots that day.

Mystic - That Mallory is majestic. Lovely color, lovely ribbon, lovely brim. A great choice for WAR Wed!!

Case - If you get puzzled at any point today and you need to scratch your head, THAT is the hat to be wearing! I'd have a hard time keeping my hands off it. Nice! :thumb:

bond - Thanks for the comment. Your OR looks great; took well to the steam. :)

hatto - Ditto on the OR. You guys look great with the wide brims. I'll get there with an OR eventually!

Tango Yankee, great choices-- you wear that bowler as good as anyone I've ever seen!
David, the Penman stamp is synonymous with classic, as is the film it's name after!
Al, in addition to the cool backbow, that is a very sweet ribbon.
Mystic, another winner. I've never seen a pug in that style, and it's magnificent.
Sam, or should I call you "Harry?" those grizzlies look great on you.
bond, sweet shot. nice hat. looks like you were born to wear it.
Perry, excellent as always.
An'A, glad to see you still enjoying that Adam, and that the curl is still there. ;)

This is a tremendous start to the day, gentlemen.

I'm going Falcon Park for WAR Wednesday. I'm enjoying the extra downward angle I gave it this morning in front, though it meant I had to dome a little in the center of the crown.

Tango, Tom, nice hats you wear! All looks good on you but the Playboy is my favorite hat.

Ian, welcome, here! Good photos and a good start posting with the nice CD. Looks good on you!

Jeff, cool hat with signs that you wear him gladly!

AnA, that is the first time, that I see a Homburg, with a swoop downwards! The look is ok but, please, have pity with the Homburger!

Eric, I am always fascinated from you VS Dove! Sharp hat!

Monte, nice hat. What is it for a color?

Manfred, I don't think it says anywhere but I would call it chocolate brown. Goes well with anything.
AnA, that lid is insanely cool!

Thanks, Rusty, Chepstow! It’s good to break out a variety of hats again. I’ll try to post more often.

Thank you, Bowlerman! I’d like to wear it again but need to resolve the sweatband issue first. As far as I saw, my wife and I were the only ones who dressed up for the New Year’s Eve train ride but that wasn’t unexpected. We’ll do the same next year. J I like the color combination on that Falcon Park today.

Delectans, love the ribbon!

A'n'A, I’ll continue with the Adam theme today with a Long by Adam, Longroyal Quality.

This is to not to ignore anyone, but with my schedule, it is hard to get on as frequently as I'd like, so I get WAY behind on congratulatory messages. Here is just to name a few;
Welcome to Iain!
Al, that ribbon is spectacular, just sublime.
Mystic, I like the look with the puggaree.
Jeff, that "down in front" look, is different and it's looks great on you.
AnA, that hommie conversion looks terrific, I wouldn't change a thing.
Nice look on you, Bond. I recently invested in a wider hat jack myself, but had to send off my Borso despite my best efforts.

Here's my beloved and I out for a steak last night. I'm wearing my Worth and Worth Cervo, a hat with just the most luscious felt. The image is slightly blurred, my apologies.

Going with the Adam again today. Especially, because it has a uniquely WIDE ribbon cinch...

You wear your hats beautifully, but I am not loving the fedora swooped homburg. My vote is to let the hat do what it was meant to do, with a gentle pull down front and back and nice high sides. But that is just me.

cheers,
Alan

Sam, also a wonderful lid that hairy Selentino! Looks nicely soft!

Perry, great OR Western and always best shaped!

AnA, the more I see him, the better he looks!

Jeff, excellent Falcon Park. An eye catcher with that ribbon and shape!

Monte, thanks. I thought it that it is a kind of brown but I was not sure. Looks great!

Tango, Tom, that is a nice one your Adam. looks very good on you!
