Today was my first day leaving home after having been laid out with the flu. I chose the TAR-to-MAR Borsalino for my 2.5 hours at work.

LotsaHats that is a sweet, sweet Borsa. Eric, the Executive is always a pleasure to look at, I can only imagine how it wears.

Been a while since I wore it. The vintage Joicy of Baltimore custom. Also remembered the old brick wall I used to use for most of my photos. Mostly posting to test out Flickr editing since Photobucket's on the fritz.

Lots of winning ways to start the weekend, gentlemen!

Coach-- I can't get enough of your "hobo hat!" It's kind of sublime.

I don't have the breath to comment on all the amazing lids today (just finished breaking tons of ice off the driveway), but I gotta thank you, Alex, for posting those pics just above. Man that thing is exquisite. That's the brim curl similar to a couple of Perry's that I pine after almost constantly. I remain perplexed as to how to execute it.

It's rather easy to execute actually. First you find a hat that's just slightly too small, crease it slightly off-center, and then turn the hat on your head until it is centered.

Nice hats all. The FL was blocked at work by our new firewall, so I can't visit during the day anymore... but once I figure out how to edit photos with the photobucket app, I'll hopefully start posting before I get in.

HI Manfred, I bought this hat in a market of used, as well as something called "FLEAS" I liked it because it is very soft, washed and preserved the quality, the hatter told me it's rabbit hair, followed the Bowlerman advice: leave it as is, without changing ribbon and iron it not. I think that looks like a hobo hat. Although it might be well aligned-

Thank you very much. As I mentioned earlier, I figured out that this happens to the hats I have accidentally creased off-center. It's not so much a curl as a "lucky deformity".

The Joicy looks good on you.

Alex, that Joicy is juicy. I love that thing!

Alex.. fantastic!
I can now say that you have gotten to the point where you wear the hat and the hat does not wear you!!!

Well done my friend!!!

Thanks! Took a while, didn't it lol.

Yeah!

Eric, Splinter, A & A: good stuff.

Thank you everyone for the compliments. Personally I think the Joicy's color is rather bland, but I love the shape and the brim deformation when I cram it on my noggin lol. The felt on this thing is incredible. I don't know nuthin' about the brand, but the fella who made these hats sure knew what he was doing.

I am proud to say that I have been able to participate in Fawcett Friday for the last 2 weeks.

Jonny, I gotta say, the height, width and pinch on that VS are pretty much perfect! Congrats on the VS.
