I visited a Flea market yesterday. I found two nice roll vintage grosgrain ribbon.
Black and a nice bordeaux red band. The black band was 1.97 inch, the bordeaux red 1.56 inch.
The grosgrain ribbon at the old Habig was faded out on some points.
I startet a ribbon replacement project with my 1956 Habig and decided to combine the two bands.
That's the results.

Not the best picture but not the best weather either. Rain rain and more rain. Now it's not raining, very small drops of rain suspended in the air carried by the wind. Even with a hat, my glasses are getting wet.

Back home...time to enjoy the water.

Good day. Back at home. I wish to enjoy the 60'+ F weather and go out for a quick sail. On the lake I see a couple of sails that I recongize. I am down on the shoreline checking the boat. Shortly I will go and change into my wetsuit, boots, gloves and a ballcap for a cool wet sail on the boat.

Enjoying my VS artlite hat at the moment.

B.R.; Yes sir. The 18' is a good working sailboat. My wife prefers a more relaxing sailboat.

BTW: I am posting this via the waterproof covered cell. Technology is truly amazing and yet very intrusive.
