Yeah, Vic showed me his, almost a twin of mine. I agree, the ribbon on yours is much better than the Belmont's. I feel the 2 inch width steals too much crown. I might replace it along the way if I manage to find period matching black grosgrain.

Not a great photo, but as this is a recent modification I thought I'd put it up anyway.
The hat is an Akubra Silver Spur, which is a c-crown western style lid. I've re-bashed it as a centre dent and taken off the plaited leather band and replaced it with a green ribbon. Not 100% sure of the green ribbon on the grey hat, but I think I am getting used to it.
