No, that was the off-white Louis Custom Hatters, cut down from 2 3/4" to 2 1/4".

This one had a 2 3/4" brim as well but with the crown standing at 4 1/2" it looked oddly out of balance, so I cut it down to 2 1/8".

You know, it's all about proportions...

The Penney's also sported a matching thin ribbon but for some reason they don't work on me so I replaced it with a brown vintage ribbon.

Thanks! For a long time I preferred bound brims but I've recently developed a great love for the raw brims.

Weekend lids

Went out for dinner last night sporting the Dobbs 15 stingy with Guild Edge. The oilskin over the internal lining label makes me think it's a 50's vintage. Perfect condition and this is its first outing.

This morning it was off to the local Farmers' Markets for some fruit n' veg and Christmas fare. The 40's/50's Borsalino narrow brimmed homburg got an outing.
