This is the sweat from the posted hat. This one is from the 1930s.

Mayser also often used Echter. This one is late 1950s early 1960s.

I LIKE THAT HAT !!! I'm partial to bound brims, especially those that match the hat felt. Is the green hat band original ? Looks GRAET with that felt color

Many thank, Gents, for the nice comments. And yes -- the green ribbon is original to the hat, which was sold at the Stetson retail store in Philadelphia on December 15, 1948.

For more detailed info on this lid, check out Stetson "Philly" Fedora. Since that original post, I have changed the crease to a teardrop. Incidentally, in terms of specs, this lid is essentially a Royal DeLuxe version of a Whippet.
