The crown on your Stetson ( did you say Chatham?) is undoubtedly more tapered than your Camp Draft. The CD has a tall, straight crown. Keep wearing it most of us have come to prefer that.

With all respects to Mae West, this hat does prove there is such as too much of a good thing. I like blue hats, but this Agnoulita is a bridge too far...and now I’m mixing my metaphors. I think this will end up on the block if anyone is interested in a size 62 in royal blue.

Independence Day where I live is rarely under 100 degrees with an overnight low in the mid 80s. Felt does not sound like fun...of course if you don’t have a Royal blue felt thin ribbon with campaign bow of your own....give me a PM if you’re interested, sport.

Happy friday loungers. We deserve this break. Today's hat, a museum quality Royal Stetson Deluxe. Because of the $12.50 tag and a tip received in the Stetson liners thread, I'm placing this at late 40s. Finest hat I've ever touched and worn. My phone camera doesn't do this justice.

My new Whippet. I brushed, cleaned, and steamed it, but the ribbon is discolored. I will have to replace it, I guess.

I'd leave the ribbon as is. I love the well lived in look in a hat. Lots of character. And I know exactly how I would reshape that one.

In Italy it is not yet time for felt hats.
Today seemed like the right day, but then the heat prevailed despite the clouds.

I took for a waltz this Huckel "Foulard" in black

This is the big brother, in size, of an equal hat that will soon fly to the land of the Aztecs

It is the first felt hat of the season and then tonight I will make a small toast with a wine from central Italy: Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and tomorrow we will see

Someone look at me a little bit astonished for my felt hat and he is right

It is obvious I tell you thanks for all the likes and appreciations for the various hats shown, but not worn.
From today you will see my face again
