Venturing out in the cool morning, temps going into the 90s later. One of my favorite grab and go hats, the Brent refurb from NW Hats. Stiffish felt, which takes a crease with some coaxing. Whip stitch makes me smile.

I've always loved this one, Red... and your NW Hats custom granite from yesterday is such a stunner. I have a Penman Everyman in granite and I love the color, but I still feel the need for a true custom in this great, multi-faceted shade.

Greetings All:
Today, while trying to avoid work around here i was comparing some hats by doing my thump the brim sound test. Anybody else ever try that? Nevertheless, this one resonates more then a bunch of others but not quite as much as others. So, hmm?
Stetson 100, rectangle size tag, from the Shudde Bros. Old but not really old.
Be well. Bowen
Ps: i’ve read each and every like and comment from all you fellow loungers and i thank each of you for your kind words.

Nice golden color. Fantastic weave and brim. All around great straw Richard.

Early 70s Stetson Derringer is throwing some shade...

Home late to what appears to be quite a day here on the lounge.

Three of the great ones. The quality of the Germans seems to be giving Borsalino a run for their money. Love the brim on that Resolut.

I'm moving to the love it side. I think it would be a great cold winter day hat, bright and sunny to pick up the highlights of the furry, yes. I'd do it.

"Berlin W" interesting. Love that brim stitching and the pleated ribbon. Very nice.

Words to live by...

This is just sad. I can see personal things like no beards, but they can't regulate what you wear on your head. Totally Chicken Feces. I'm sorry it had to come to this, but of all the "last straws" there could possibly be, damn!
Thanks, Mike. The Germans held their own alright, but the Borsalino was still triumphant.
