Justin, I'm sorry, but for an Italian, the hat is an accessory that should be worn as a complement to all clothing.
Your suit is magnificent as well as the Dobbs. For me it is a compliment for your total elegance:)
haha, those were smiley faces, but the forum makes them look... agitated!

Thank you for the kind words! I dont have many opportunities to dress up, but it is a nice change once in awhile!

Walking at lunch today with a no-name Panama given to me by friends in Cuenca, Ecuador when down there a couple years back. Friends who'd be quick to tell you it's an Ecuador Hat, not a Panama Hat :)

Wow! Please excuse my ignorance, Stefan, but I did not know that the Netherlands have a king. It surprises me because I think that Holland has an egalitarian society. Well, live and learn.

Don't worry, Max: he won't be offended:) Discussion has been going on for decades if we should not get rid of the monarchy, but we've gotten used to them and we probably couldn't agree on who should be our president if we'd be a republic. We were a republic once, mind you, and it didn't end well. So, like most monarchies, we imported some royalty from Germany after that and they're still around. The king has a ceremonial function mostly. This one endeared himself to the Dutch people by finishing the "Elfstedentocht" when he was still crown prince; a 200 km ice skating race (I kid you not). Not something to be taken lightly. I'd like to meet another head of state who can claim the same!

Darn near wanted an overcoat on this morning. Dobbs Hanover Square finds it's place.

Have barely been able to see the monitor the last couple of days. Had to have a little laser spot welding done on one retina yesterday. Seems to be improving.

Excellent, Michael. One of my favourite hats of yours (the marathon is still at number one though).

Today it’s a hat i thought looked like an OR clone so i put a kinda cattleman’s crease in it and it immediately got a “Brim up for Bob” erection so here’s one for you Bob Roberts!! Ha
Knox Forty, white as sugar and pretty sweet. Lol
Be well. Bowen
I'm not a connaisseur on the finer points of OR hats and OR clones, but this is a very fine looking hat, Bowen. Nice.

Borsalino Ghiaccio today. Stingy brim (5cm): I do have them!

I still don't consider these as "Stingy". There is enough brim to make it look "Fedora like". A stingy is my 1 3/4" brimmed hats that are more "Rat Pack". This is a stellar hat Stefan.

Yesterday I had on my slightly recreased John Cavanagh, left. To the right is how it was when I got it. Too massive for my head and face.

Damn Scotty, that hat looks great with any crease, but I do like your new creation better.

Pretty sweet indeed Bowen. A true OR crease kind of looks better with the Bob Brim. I still think I would go more diamond crease if I had one. A Fourty! Wow!

Thanks, Mike. It's the best I can do on the let's call it semi-stingy front. Max wondered why I'm not spotted in a stingy in this thread.
