Dank u.I tend to avoid stingy brims, Max. They start to feel like "little hats" to me very soon, which I don't like for myself. There are stingy brimmed hats in my collection though and pictures of me wearing them. Stay tuned.
"Hatless" I tend to avoid too, but I'll make an exception today.
Stefan:Two hat day again.

She must get her good taste in hats from her grandfather, but I'm humbled by such high praise. I haven't been blown kisses to in quite a while!Stefan:
My grandaughter Willow approves of 2 of your 3 hats. She blew kisses to them!! High praise!
Me too!

Went there a few years back, incredible. Don't know if I would like to live there, a little too new age, mystical for me. Beautiful scenery, but I think I would miss the green of the Northwest. My father goes to Sedona twice a year. He loves it. I haven't, but I will.

It's THE outfit for King's Day over here, Mike. You'd fit right in!Ventured out into the smoke today, it is keeping the temps down a bit. Took the Biltmore Cognac Derby for a spin. It is going to be a good winter hat. Nice construction on this Imperial. A little too much orange today I'm afraid, the air, the hat and everything else.

Yessir! Gills.Moderate temps the rest of the week giving us a respite from the heat. Perfect timing for the kickoff to fair and festival season. I'll have to hit up the Great Darke County Fair this week before it closes Saturday.

It is enjoyable to see the variables of details in the history of Whippetdom.Fall is nearing. I have been out watching the Nighthawks feeding over the lake. Hundreds of the birds migrating through my neighborhood this morning have been out early feeding on the insects. Feed away! Thousands were counted on Sunday migrating thru by the migration folks in northern Minnesota (Hawks Ridge in Duluth, MN). I tried some pics on my cellphone, but the pics turned out terrible.
I have been wearing a vtg.Stetson Whippet. Not all Whippets are "equal." This brown Whippet has the larger brim binding on top that were characteristic of some versions. My photo shots became blurred when rain sprinkles dropped on the lens. I took a couple of quick indoor shots paired with a dark gray vtg. Stetson Whippet. Poor pics today, but I hope they still illustrate.
Best, Eric -
Enjoying a 62'f morning with binoculars in hand. Best, Eric -
It is actually an old Mercedes Benz lapel stick pin. I have them in many of my hats.Nice one Red, love that pearl headed pin accent.
Wonderful lines on this one Max. I need to learn more about these McAndrews hats. Seen a few float past on the Bay.Kevin McAndrew XXX Beaver today.

Thanks, Mike. That Barbisio is a hat all of its own. Doesn't want to be a homburg and doesn't want to be a fedora.Good to see you Fred. Like that weave on the Stetson.
