Today it’s a Vintage Knox no name. Obviously a very lightweight, unlined summertime sweetie. Unusual in it’s Brand Crest venting and striped pug ribbon.
Many will recognize the signature crease and know it’s provenance.

Very interesting hat all around. The vents, the location of the liner tip and that wonderful hat stand...so precious.

Heading out to re-supply the fridge after the trip this morning. Our coffee maker is also dying, which is much more important to address than just food. Still cool enough (80 degrees already) to wear my NW Hats Cuenca straw.

Yard work this early morning in an old Resistol Westerner, upon coming in the wife says "you know, you should take a few of your old western hats and hang them in the spare bedroom". We call one of our spare bedrooms "The Texas Room". She was right, of course. Hmmmm, I think I see more room above the bed too.....

Hahaha. My wife asked for me to put my hats in the spare bedroom, but I said I wanted to be able to look at them while in bed, not put them in exile. So we compromised, and I had my hat closet built. I leave the doors open when I am in the bedroom.
