The first pics look spectacular, Mike. Good to have you back.Returned last night from our Alaskan cruise, wonderful trip! Being out of contact was hard, couldn't keep up with all the great hats. Internet on the ship was very expensive and spotty at best. One of our ports of call was Skagway, Alaska. A major excursion for me was the White Pass & Yukon Railroad. A trip up to the summit into Canada. This railroad was built in the 1890s and is still in operation today. Figured a early 20th Century Derby was a good hat for the day. My "Dunstatter", a Derby of unknown factory manufacture from the teens. Almost too hot for this one, we had spectacular weather. Photo in front of a 1900 steam snow plow. I'll have more images up later today in the Fedoras Afield thread.

Great pics of a full day, Eric. Hat is wonderful as usual.Very early morning I was in a cap.
Early morning a visit to the St.Paul Farmers Market to grab produce and visit with a friend who was playing his guitars.
He is sport'n a modern Stetson Whippet I gifted him. The tapered crown and crazy brim works on humid sunny summer days.
No playing for me as I have a full day planned.
I parked near the State Fair Grounds and took the light rail. I needed to leave my auto at the Back to the 50's Car Show. I made a purchase bid that was accepted on a vtg.Chev. I wanted to get a car with BIG FINS for my wife for her birthday. It will be trailered over this afternoon. I can not wait until she gets home to see her new ride. Crazy color that she will certainly like.
Heading to the Back to the 50's Auto Show to pick up my modified vtg. 40's Ford. My Woody needs me to give it more attention. It is enjoyable to drive around. The vtg. Stetson Playboy was my hat of choice this morning.
My nephews are minding the auto while I grab the trailer. On and off again rain finds me in a 2012 Stetson Whippet in a coated straw. This hat gets the nod on warm and rainy days. Changed out of a vtg.Stetson Playboy felt.
Enjoying a Sunday. Best, Eric -
I'm in awe of the collection of panamas you've collected in such a short time, Bill. Treat them well; they are works of art.Brent Black with VS ribbon treatment for services this morning. Notice the empty parking lot. I like to stand around and visit after services.

I can't help but wonder if that has confused any real tourists. "Wyoming? I thought we were in New Mexico..."Not above playing tourist (“Longmire” was filmed in Las Vegas, New Mexico).

That’s an outstanding look you have. I like everything you did.Today I am wearing an Akubra Stylemaster that was given to me by my dad, due to the hat being too small for him. After receiving the hat I made some changes to it. First on the list was changing the ribbon to something darker for more contrast. After going to a few hat shops without success, I found John Fish who has a small custom hat making company named Folklore Hats, and was willing to switch out the ribbon for me. Next up I tightened the pinch, and I think the end result is great! Here is John's instagram in case you're interested: https://www.instagram.com/thisisfolklore/?hl=en View attachment 124048 View attachment 124049
