Fortunately I hadn't packed away all the winter clothes yet. Had to pull on a very vintage Pendleton and a wool jacket.

My kind of weather, actually.
Have a good one,
Michael
Great looking Champ, nice color. Cool looking jacket.

Agnoulita in caramel before the heat drives me out of felt.

This is my first day wearing this economy custom. I’m really liking it so far.

Caramel is a nice neutral color. The brim and crown are really great.

Love the water feature background! Nice Imperial.

In the morning, the vintage Ramenzoni

In the afternoon I did try this vintage boater that arrived in the morning, after the replaciing of the ribbon and sweatband.

After:
Not the better sweat work but I did want it to look too new LOL

Very nice boater. Any ideas on age? Love the brim binding on the Ramenzoni (and that name!).

I dig the shape and contrasting brim binding on the Ramenzoni. I’ve been looking for a boater for a long time; you wear yours very well.

Couple newbies to share!

Had to wear something British while watching HBO's hilarious coverage of the royal wedding. Went with this new-to-me skimmer - British make by way of Toronto Canada. It came to me sans sweat band with a stained ribbon so I installed a Bond-band and some fresh grosgrain.

Today, wearing a Mayser, stamped 1958. I swapped out the crown ribbon and re-flanged the brim. It's a nice little hat but I'd classify it as a bit of a beater. Dried out sweat band, torn liner film, crown could use a reblocking, and the kindly deutscherman who used to own it was definitely a smoker. Still, a nice lid. If the sweat eventually cracks apart, I'll give it a full overhaul.

Hey Blue! Nice looking skimmer, but I am really feeling that Mayser. The wide ribbon really complements the tall crown and short brim.
