With my just arrived duck/eagle feather

So, here's the thing: It's been raining like crazy, and I'm still very nervous about wearing a quality hat out in weather like this. So, I took a step backward and donned a hat (cap) that I don't worry about surviving the weather.
Tell me, how do you take an Akubra Campdraft and wear it out in the weather? I keep reading how they stand up and I know that's partly what a hat is designed for, but I still worry about the effects of the weather... View attachment 116207
Also @alanfgag, we should start a new Vintage Pro Wrasslin' thread, boys!
Wow! Such a good looking hat, and the beadwork is beautiful!

Bitchin' hat.
Great tune to get the day off to a kickin' start. Thanks.
Listening this morning to the national and international news (via my ear buds) on my dog walk. I am trying to make sense of the challenges that exist. A vtg.Stetson Whippet is perfect for the early morning. Love the brim details on this hat.
Best, Eric -
Rocking lids, BOTH, Johnny! Rushing that fine straw a bit, though, eh?!!
Did you find the wife at Walmart? I never thought to look there!!
I really knew, but couldn't resist. Who knows what they'll be selling next at Walmart?!
Hell, Charlie, I got my wife at a local department store, Rike's (I was cameras, she was small electrics).
I hear Amazon Prime has 2-day delivery on eligible wives.
That outfit!! You are an example to us all! Great colors, goes great with that hat.A Marathon for morning coffee and my Perry Mason hat fix.

Very nice! Tell everyone it is an eagle feather, no one would dare challenge that!

We loved Sedona. Alas, I was not into hats when we were there, would have been a whole different shopping experience. Thanks DD. The band was purchased in Sedona a few years ago.

ExactlyBut you might be arrested (unauthorized persons found with an eagle or its parts in their possession can be fined up to $25,000). A DNA test would free you though.
Thanks Mike. There are not many great hat stores in Sedona, there's an Old West Emporium that sells some OK modern Stetsons, and another one that sells some dandy boots and mostly wool hats, but a few cowboy hats. The best are the jewelry stores that sell Native jewelry and some bands. That outfit!! You are an example to us all! Great colors, goes great with that hat.

GILLS!! [emoji16]
And to go with the hat - and hopefully get a few toes tappin' and tushies shakin' on a Friday - a little Steve Marriot and Humble Pie.
Sent directly from my mind to yours.
