CRH, great colour combo. Is that a light green felt with a green ribbon? Or a tan?

Rusty, it looks like that Strat is possessing you. His stable brothers could get jealous. ;)

Earth colours again... I wore a heavy woolen herringbone tweed-like jacket; this one has the unusual feature of being DB, but having notched lapels. I am not specially crazy about this, but neither do I despise it. I chose as a complement a woolen bowtie, because of its texture and pattern, that I felt like went well with the jacket's somewhat rustic and coarse texture.

I topped the whole with a sage green Dobbs 15.

The hat in detail. It has one of those bows with a twisted ribbon knot.

I can see why its your favorite, that ribbon detail is especially terrific! This looks very sharp on you Scott!

Soft, bound-brim 1920's Stetson western. Similar brim dimensions to an Open Road, but different block - taller, flat top.

My favorite hat:

Here's a look at the ribbon:

That Campdraft looks great on you, Tom! You're making me wish I'd gone ahead and got a green one.

Congrats on the kill. When do we eat?

Living, as I do, in a village that amounts to a wide spot in the road in the middle of the lone praireee, I have more call for western-like styles.
I am, however, situated at the gateway to the forest, lakes, hunting, fishing, etc. so I'm gonna have to hammer down perhaps a campdraft, another stockman lol (can you say "obsession"???) lol

You dudes are lookin' good in those lids!

-----------------

Going to visit Nicki's family on the weekend and we owe a couple of murals to the niece and nephew. Here I am planning out a SpiderMan at about 4' x 4' on PVC:

And here it is after I primed it and jigged it out and got a quick coat of color on for starters. I'll finish it tomorrow and mount it on location Sunday. It's going to stand off the wall about an inch. :)

Thanks! (and for everyone else's comments as well) The ribbon detail and quality really makes many of these hats even more special.

Hopefully all the Americans had a great Thanksgiving.

Nice, Garrett! Main problem I'm having with my fancy old black hat, is I don't have any clothes like yours to wear it with!
