Thanks, gentlemen. It's a wonderful looking homburg, Matt. But I can see what you mean with the white spot. I wouldn't feel the same with some mothing or other wear though; strange...
Beautiful hat.I'm wearing my first homburg, today. Premier Vita-Felt.
It's got this white spot on the crown from when someone must have spilled a drop of some bleaching substance on it. Unreasonable creature that I am, that little spot drives me bonkers. Oh well...
Have a beautiful day.
The like was for the hat.I am despondent.
Opening Day. Cancelled. No baseball. No Reds.
It's raining. Dark. Overcast. There's no baseball until tomorrow. Blech.
So I laugh in the face of TAR Thursday with this Moss Green Gannon.
I'd wish everybody a happy Holy Thursday, but this is a tragedy of immense proportions. Perhaps I should buy a hat to cheer myself up.

Dang, at least another month or two before I can wear Aloha and straw.Hey everyone!
Beautiful day. The Gitmoe up top for it's first service of the Spring.
Have a great day!

Best way to get your mind off that spot is to focus instead on thst popped stitch on the brim binding...

Sitting on the porch awaiting the Postperson to deliver a pair of vintage Magnaplanar stereo speakers for the Marantz. Been waiting 40 years for some “Maggies”! Probably be in La La Land for a good while.
So, today it’s a Stetson Bantam. I don’t believe it’s been posted before. Kinda nice.
As always, thanks for the recent kind words.
Be well. Bowen
Cancelling opening day is truly unholy Jim, but there are still at least 164 games to go this year.I am despondent.

Thanks, this may be my go to summer driver for awhile.Love a nice vintage straw like this. The ribbon treatment really sets this one off.
Straw hat weather; yes that would be nice! Lovely hat, John.Hey everyone!

Like more felt weather is a bad thing?Dang, at least another month or two before I can wear Aloha and straw.
You wouldn't think about that spot once while searching for a non-existent popped stitch...HaHaHa!!!
Now THAT is the solution. What a marvelous way to further focus my obsessive compulsive disorder!!!
Thanks Stefan!Straw hat weather; yes that would be nice! Lovely hat, John.
That's another great European hat Mike, perfect proportions and looks like wonderful felt.It is going to be a sunny day! A little nippy this morning, so the Lees of London c1955 will be my morning hat. This afternoon will be warm and straw weather. Probably my Lt. Blue Duplex custom...again.
