Jim, thanks. They are, but they are not a common find. I only have two of them.I only know Cervos vicariously, but they look like wonderful hats.
Thank you, sir!
Lovely looking borsalino, Bowen!View attachment 111664 View attachment 111666 View attachment 111667 View attachment 111668 View attachment 111669 Greetings All:
It seems i have been posting mostly Stetsons so...
Today it’s a Borsalino. I believe this was my first “good” Borsa. It’s still hanging in there me thinks. Vintage Cal Leather crosszip for warmth.
As always, thanks all for the recent kind words.
Be well. Bowen

Looks like you enjoyed yourself. That Mossant is a beauty.Better late than never. I spent the day at the archives of the Portland Art Museum. A famous Oregon State Dean, Gordon Gilkey gave his art collection and papers to them before his death in 2000. He was also one of the Monument Men from WWII. I will probably be contracted out to process his archival collection (20 boxes!) in the near future. Spent the day geeking out in my Mossant Diplomatique. Kind of seemed appropriate.

How much snow is left up there?
Mike, Thank you! The sweatband is a blueish gray.Pretty inside and out. Love the colorful Borsalino logo. Is the sweat a gray color? My latest Lobbia has this color sweat.
After straying away from the flock it's back in the fold again as a homburg. Feels like coming home...Great hat either way, Matt. Thanks for all of the kind words and likes related to the Borsalino and Richard Stewart's hat.
This Premier Vita-Felt Process hat hasn't been in it's original homburg form for years because I dig it so much with a pinch and teardrop crease. This morning it went for a steam bath before being re-homburgized.
The results do not infuriate me.
I include a few shots of it the other way from a couple of months back. I think that the above and below comparison is kind of neat.
Have a groovy day.
