Today's paper! Although the picture isn't from today. I had a trusty lightweight Stetson Sovereign on.

I'm currently too scruffy to wear my typical garb without looking like a beatnik. I dunno how all you guys pull off the bearded look so well. I'm sincerely jealous .
Greetings Wesslyn et al:
Congrats on the new release. I listened to several tracts and your vocals immediately reminded me of some Moody Blues and Pink Floyd vocals. That’s never happened before! Had to stop cause i “went back” too fast! You have the gift...hope you go far.
Hat and clothing wise...do you change in a phone booth?? Whoda thunk it!
Be well. Bowen

Hey all!
Hückel up top on an afternoon that turned from warm and sunny to cold and grey in a very short time. Hence a Hawai'ian shirt under a peacoat...

Mirtillo turns blue into a happy color because it looks like "mirth". Great lid for a Friday or any other day!
Lovely, Matt. Felt seems to have a little bit of structure to it.
That hat is very high on my wish list!
Greetings Matt et al:
A Rat of distinction!
In the hat dictionary next to Homburg it said “see this”.
Now, dump the tie and let’s see it atop the Joseph’s Amazing Technicolor Jacket! Only you can pull it off!
As always, Be Well. Bowen
Thanks, gentlemen.

Stefan... the MacLachlan definitely has "structure". It's a pretty dense felt. Not quite as dense as today's Borsalino, but they have a similar feel. They are two of the nicest pieces of felt that I own.

Bowen... I owe you the hat plus the jacket. Thanks, my friend.

That's an extraordinary hat. The finish must be wonderful to the touch.

Yesterday and today.

Cervo yesterday (I don't wear this one enough).

Tirard today (new to the collection).

Great looking hats.

The styling of the Tirard reminds me of the hat I wore earlier. The lower crown on those homburgs gives them a distinctly "sporty" feel.

Matt, thanks. I have one other Tirard. In midnight blue; the French name is minuit blue, which has a nice ring to it.

Well, we've finally made it to Friday. Yipee.

@Wesslyn, I echo the others' congratulations. It's good to see you got your album out. Best of luck with it; hope to see you on the Grammies next year!

@Daniele Tanto - great heather!

Wormser "Supreme Quality" for me today.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.

..... I am wearing a new 5" brimmed black "Zorro" myself this morning......

Never good when you start quoting yourself  Was pretty excited to wear the newest lid this morning. Had everyone lined out to be on their best behavior. Cows, horses and my professional photographer waiting in the wings until the rain stopped. Even had the rain lined out. Perfect morning. Open crown was set, brim was flat, latigo hat band all snugged up and that pretty silver concho sitting perfectly.

My oldest Appy gelding and I have seen out share of fun together. Nothing ever this much fun though:confused: Guess he didn't get my "photo day" memo...or may be he did. Kinda his way. This was taken a few minutes after he bucked me off. They tell me I made it four jumps..maybe 3 seconds all in. Seemed more like 1.5 or 2 to be honest, may be less. 2nd jump I think the horn tapped my spine. I noticed. Lost count and caring at that point and just wanted off! He was sure willing to oblige. This was taken a few minutes later and I still haven't gotten up from where I landed. After some time passed, I was able reach for and put my hat back on. Eventually I hobbled back to the house on crutches and downed a beer and two (never take more than one at a time) oxy. Higher than a kite now...thankfully :D 'Cuz this one is gonna leave a mark! Liking the hat. Must be my new "good luck" hat.

Ouch!

Glad that you (and the hat) are not seriously hurt. Enjoy your narcotic adventure.

Great pic, by the way.
