Thanks! I'm no expert by any means. Jist a hobby I started a few months ago. This was my first hat using fur felt. All the others are wool. I figured it was cheaper to screw up wool while learning haha. I still have a lot of things to learn.

Looks regal allright. More people joining the homburg nation; good!Just punched as pleased to drive to work under this new to me Dalton Homburg, thanks to @Michael R. Black on black and arrived late last night, so I haven't even seen it in the daylight, yet!
But that wasn't going to stop me from wearing it. Beautiful felt - lightweight, soft as a baby's tuchis. Easily the most pristine of my now six Daltons. Looks like I just walked out of the hat shop with it. And it fits perfectly.

Well, you have me beat! Can't top that.Today hat was a production of Albertini - Intra. He was the master of Giovanni Panizza
The factory on the Lago Maggiore operated from 1817 and until the fifties it was active, mostly in Luton - England
They were the first italian hatters with "modern" machines to produce hats
Felt is a perfect example of Italian production between the war, a mixture of fur and wool.
The proportions are what they used to made during thirties

Another item of great beauty and wonder out of the package from Stefan yesterday. This navy (or is it more of a midnight?) blue Rockel Homburg.
OK, so there were only two objects of great beauty and wonder in the box. But, there were two of these cool supermarket bags that make me look exotic and well-travelled (or even slightly travelled) when I pull them out to bag my groceries and thrift store finds!
