Always like seeing your Dorer! I also enjoy seeing your selection of boots. I have noticed that you also sport some very nice vests. Sharp!

Thanks, Ddog. Always appreciate your kind words. Boots by Jesse and the vest is an Orvis. Which brings to mind, this Dorer was apparently distributed by Orvis, though I don't recall ever seeing one in their catalogs.

Just punched as pleased to drive to work under this new to me Dalton Homburg, thanks to @Michael R. Black on black and arrived late last night, so I haven't even seen it in the daylight, yet!

But that wasn't going to stop me from wearing it. Beautiful felt - lightweight, soft as a baby's tuchis. Easily the most pristine of my now six Daltons. Looks like I just walked out of the hat shop with it. And it fits perfectly.

Today hat was a production of Albertini - Intra. He was the master of Giovanni Panizza

The factory on the Lago Maggiore operated from 1817 and until the fifties it was active, mostly in Luton - England

They were the first italian hatters with "modern" machines to produce hats

Felt is a perfect example of Italian production between the war, a mixture of fur and wool.

The proportions are what they used to made during thirties

My compliments for all the loungers and thanks for the likes

Hey folks!
Another item of great beauty and wonder out of the package from Stefan yesterday. This navy (or is it more of a midnight?) blue Rockel Homburg.

OK, so there were only two objects of great beauty and wonder in the box. But, there were two of these cool supermarket bags that make me look exotic and well-travelled (or even slightly travelled) when I pull them out to bag my groceries and thrift store finds!:)

Have a great day!

The hat looks great. The bags are a bonus!

No hat yesterday. Well there was was, but no picture of it. But I got this: getting ready for the winter olympics (watching, not competing). Speedskating: the Dutch obsession. If the beard is longer I have been compared to papa smurf.

Today was the Moores homburg again (don't know why I look so grim).
