How did your excellent quality strat survive the elements? Mine experienced a deluge of rain and it was not pretty. So this is me, as White Death Wednesday descends on the valley, heading out in an modern Excellent Strat.

...aaaand, this is me, about 90 minutes later, as they closed the Air Force base about the time I was rolling through getting my ID checked.

Okay, I want that hat. Send it now or the Adam gets it. Ha ha. That's a winner for sure.Unseasonably nice here in Oregon for February. It should be 60 degrees this afternoon. Breaking all the "Straw Day" rules (traditionally May 15th) by wearing my NW Hats Lt Blue Duplex. I couldn't wait!! Had to give it a spin.

Thanks Bowen. It's a nice one. I need to get it out more often.Greetings Michael et al:
Love a 3x Last Drop!! And an Open Road to boot!! All the bells and whistles on that one!
Very nice. Very nice.
Be well. Bowen
Today hat was a production of Albertini - Intra. He was the master of Giovanni Panizza
The factory on the Lago Maggiore operated from 1817 and until the fifties it was active, mostly in Luton - England
They were the first italian hatters with "modern" machines to produce hats
Felt is a perfect example of Italian production between the war, a mixture of fur and wool.
The proportions are what they used to made during thirties
My compliments for all the loungers and thanks for the likes
50's/60's OR for me today

View attachment 105708 I figured that I’d post a “retirement” picture for my first hat. Yeah, it’s wool and it was cheap, but it’s been a real trooper in the rain and snow and sun on cold days.

Hey all!
The new Hückel is a generous size 58, and fits a little loose. So, I have no choice but to moisten the sweat and wear it till it conforms. That's as good an excuse to wear it as I need.
Have a great day!

Thank you Eric. I really like the scorched blue Heather felt. Wearing blue jeans & a gray leather jacket with it.Jack; I really like that hat!
Thank you! Yes, I’ve been lucky to have it.The good old dependable hat!
Thank you! I don't think it's a JHS or Tonak. Maybe the felt but I don't see it. Without a company mark it's very difficult.I would have guessed Hückel. Nice looking hat.
