F. Witzleben Leipzig Melone probably sourced. To me a unique goldish brown color.

Thanks Stefan, it was a interesting find. I'm happy to be it's caretaker.

Impressive hat Serge! Super brim!

I just love the lines of this hat Richard. I've stolen images for future inspiration for a new custom.

Sorry about the frigid temps Bob. That is a super neat beret. Love it.
I'm glad I've inspired you Mike, if you want dimensions feel free to ask. As someone once said, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." I'm flattered

That may be the best pouty face I have seen since my son was about 3 years old. You have better reason for it than he did, though.

I hope that your antelope is not expensively ill and that by gorging on bread washed down by gallons of beer, your frown will soon be turned upside down.

Thanks, Matt. Life goes on, y'know?

The bread's pretty good.

Very nice hat, moe!

How old is your starter?

Thanks Jim!
My starter is only a few months old. We had some very unusually hot and humid weather last September that made my previous starter, which I had kept going for a couple of years, go funky on me. Don't know what it was, all I can guess is that the heat threw the usual mix of microbes out of balance. Took me almost rwo months to get a culture going again that would raise bread.
