Thanks for the likes today folks.

Harv; Thank you.

Perry; Thank you. Boy you have been on a roll of late with dynamite hats and sweater /tie combos.

Thanks Anthony. The "inexpensive" vintage Lee hats had some real grand hats.

Scotty; Amazing work for the price at its heyday.

Best this afternoon, Eric -
Thanks Eric. You always have great hats but I can't always comment because my day starts to get busyo_O

Hey all!
Wearing this old Vita-Felt again, after giving it another dry cleaning last night. So much tobacco stain colored gunk came out the first time I wouldn't be surprised if the moths that chewed on it died of cancer. I think I got most of it out now.
Looks good paired with this beat up leather field jacket.

If you want a greenish Indy hat, look for the old Akubra Fed III in Mid-Brown. One of the reasons I eventually sold mine was that color's distinct greenish cast.

Aside from a couple of OD jackets, I don't wear anything in the green family (and little in the tan/khaki range), so that greenish brown didn't work well for me. (The Dark Brown now used for the Fed IV has a red undertone, not green.)
Greetings All:
Ahh...sounds like a post military color aversion syndrome....idk but it took me alot of years to like green...cept money!! Ha nice hat.
Be well. Bowen

Fruno, super crease...”organic”??...lots of character in that one. CC rocks!
Be well. Bowen

Thanks, Bowen. Not entirely sure what you mean by organic. This is Dobbs' "Hankachif" felt. Very thin and lightweight. It'll do whatever I ask of it, for the most part, but this center dent seems to be what it wants.
