Outstanding, Daniele! Flechet did special finishes really well. All my Flechtet hats are in fact special finishes; never seen a regular felt by them!Today gray and damp day, only now early afternoon the sun peeked out from the clouds
This hat has one of the most incredible felts among those in my collection
It is soft and almost silk, easy to form but difficult to keep in shape, reminds me of some old Borsalino
Flechet Pilote premier qualité Impermeable. Color is Caniche
Color is another interesting feature that I tried to highlight with photos
The finish is very short and shiny hair (this finish in Italy is called "ferro francese")
Probably made in the fifties or early sixties in France in the Flechet (founded in 1859) facility in Chazelles-sur-Lyon near Saint-Etienne
I want to thank you with my heart for the kind words and appreciation
Have a nice Thursday
Imperial indeed. Consider me jealous, Anthony!Imperial Fifteen

Guilty as charged, but in my defense: I'm a lost soul myself! It is largely your fault my friend. But, I am addicted.
Very nice; well done! This is what I am wearing from now on. Moss green Rabbit & Hare Mix fur felt. 14 cm crown, 6.5 cm front brim, sides 6 cm. Copper Grosgrain ribbon, Scandinavian deer skin sweatband. Diamond shaped crown.

Nice work, John. You got that hat a long way to where you wanted it!Hey all!
I've never been a huge fan of thin ribbons, but this here Dobbs West Twenty-Five may have just roped me in. Should be a good durable choice for the light rain beginning to fall.
I adjusted the crown and pinch a little, I like it a whole lot more.
Have a great day!

Awesome is an overused word, but fitting here, Steve. Wonderful form and stunning colour.Dermotta Wien date stamped December 1955.

Maybe not that frequent, Justin, but always something to look forward to. Your hats are inspirational.First hat is from today, 1920s Stetson
Grey is from the other day, took my "daughter" out to the park for a little while. Hat is a 40s Dobbs cross country
Great hats to everyone, though i dont post frequent, do know i enjoy all of your postings. keep em comin'
Picked up a few mirtillos (sounds like a snack) this friday, but alas not one was as good as yours, Matt.Happy Friday.
So.............................
As I took these pictures under the Borsalino Nutria in mirtillo this morning, apparently I stepped in a giant pile of dog doo. Then, after a bit of shoe cleaning, I spilled coffee on myself as I started the drive to work.
A splendificatious start to the day, indeed! Things bode well.
Yippee.
Have a steaming pile free day.
Wonderful! You know how much I like those heather felts.Sun and some clouds here and there
Huckel made in West Germany
Heather black thick felt
Matching ribbon and raw brim
Despite the appearance and the apparent solidity, the felt is very malleable
It is very well finish and perfect for a cold dat, not today
Have a nice Friday!
Thanks for the likes on Flechet Pilote
Can't go wrong with good Borsalino! Love it.Borsalino today.

I don't know which to put on my wish list first: the Game Bird or the Jiffy steamer!Hey folks!
Freshly steamed duck is today's special at the Dobbs Diner.
Mid-late 40's Dobbs Game Bird Guild Edge.
Have a great day.

Now there's something I haven't seen before. That is quite the hat you have there, Michael. Not for everyday wear, maybe, but certainly a great piece. Fits the rest of the wonderful outfit too (but I wouldn't expect anything else from you).Another cold morning. Borsalino alpine traveler

Nice pickup, congrats.Stetson Nutria Quality. From the bay a couple of weeks ago. Looked like silver belly from the seller’s pics. Turned out to this pleasant brown after cleaning.
Liner is long lost which is a disappointment

You might want to study the top row of the chart. The crease in this beauty is kind of an understated cattleman, I like it. Great one Jack.
