Yeah, I saw. The 7 1/4 will be too small. And the guy with the 7 3/8 must be dreaming with that price! There's a 7 1/4 and a 7 3/8 Resistol on the bay...
Thanks gentlemen.
I'm surprised at how much I dig a red... I mean a "pomegranate" (way to class up the lingo, Danielle) colored hat. I suspect that it is going to get a lot of head time. That $12.50 looks like $1,250.
Hey all!
This new-to-me Dobbs West Twenty-Five.
Still haven't decided on what crease to give it, but this one will do for now.
Have a great day!

that rifle is a model 8 in 32 rem. cal. made in 1927 I also have a 30 rem. a 35 rem. in model 8s and a model 81 in 35 rem.Very nice. Is that a Remington 8 or an 81? I have an 8 in 30 Remington and an 81 in 35 Rem. Hats and rides are a good combination in my book.

Super cool Matt! This Berg makes a real statement. Cleaned up nice. I was just thinking about you today, missed you face.Been under the weather the last couple of days. Must be the warm-up that's got me down.
Speaking of "weather"... This Weather Hat Company "Pikes Peak" homburg made by the late Art Henderson (I reckon in the '60s) in Colorado Springs, CO was on my doorstep this afternoon. It's a great piece of work.
I purchased the hat in an auction last March. I was a bit nervous about wearing the bold color and it had some condition issues, including what appeared to be dried glue spots on the brim that I couldn't do anything with. I sent the hat out to Bob at Black Sheep. He cleaned up the glue pretty darned well, blocked it, and gave it fresh trim and insides.
I am not dispeased with the results.
Now... Got some pages of hats to catch up on.
Enjoy.
Good to see you made it out of the deep freeze Wes. Looking sharp again!Beautiful day. Refreshing after the sub zero temps. My favorite Resistol on top.

Very nice Steve. Looks new. That liner is sweet.Emanuel Gittel Wien probably early 1960s and recent arrival. I like the form of this hat.
Nice snag John, that embroidered liner is a nice bonus. I like it, not so "western" of a western, I could wear this one.Hey all!

Love the highlight in the bow. Art does super bows. What kind of a time frame did this one take?Stetson refurbished by VS
