Not as far out as that Fawcett, Perry. That ribbon and binding just leap off that felt. Nice!Far out Man!

Thanks Matt. It's a copy Art made of a very old Stetson of Alan's.Not as far out as that Fawcett, Perry. That ribbon and binding just leap off that felt. Nice!
Glad you didn't, haha we would have had a war on our hands! I thought it would be too small, found a circular size sticker reading 7, and fits me as a 7 1/8!DUDE!!!! I was going to bid on that a week or so back but the seller told me that the size was too small for me.
I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE THAT IT LANDED IN YOUR HANDS!!!
Such an awesome hat. I am greener than green with envy.
LUCKY!!!!!! It would have been a long, bloody, costly war!Glad you didn't, haha we would have had a war on our hands! I thought it would be too small, found a circular size sticker reading 7, and fits me as a 7 1/8!
Prehaps if we stopped whining & cease trying to put pressure on the powers that be by threatening to withdraw our participation, things might evolve, let the dust settle so we can all see things a little more clearly. Suppositions & presumptions regarding the reasons for Bob's ban are pointless & helping no one nor are relating & comparing other posts or photos elsewhere for the purpose of illustrating Bob's victimization. We don't know what happened & unless someone has information from both sides of the coin to divulge, it might be better we kept our conspiracy theories to ourselves.
I don't think your punch analogy is a good one.......I see it as Bob being sent off for foul play by a referee & it's up to a committee to decide whether or not Bob can play in future games. The decision isn't ours to take nor can we influence the outcome.
Amen.Back to What Hat Are You Wearing Today....

Much appreciated my friend. I believe i found their family tree, and it said the founder passed in 1926 if i remember. I'll have to start looking again!LUCKY!!!!!! It would have been a long, bloody, costly war!
But I'd have to bind my head to wear even a 7 1/8 without getting a terrible headache.
As I was drooling over it, I tried to dig up info on Hulbert. It was not a successful search. But seeing that beauty again, makes me want to look more. If I find anything, I'll send it your way.
Thanks Matt!Amen.
Sweet.
And will you share with us just exactly that bad boy is?

Perry, thanks!Cool Fango...
Fruno, I commend you for keeping dialog open. I will give my two cents, for what it's worth. Much like society today, when a disagreement occurs, a lot of us tend to retreat into separate corners. Dialog stops and disrespectful comments begin. Failure to participate doesn't seem to work. During my career, I had to take disciplinary action against employees many times. Although never pleasant, I had a clear conscience in that I simply applied the rules equally as written. That being said, there is a human perception at play, and as they say, "perception is reality". If an exemplary employee commits an infraction, disciplinary action may be less severe, than the same infraction for an employee perceived by a supervisor as a pain. What happens post incident greatly effects the eventual outcome. I have seen employees lose there job, because of the attitude taken when action is proposed. So often if dialog were kept open, and each party attempted to reach middle ground, these issues could be resolved. Being disrespectful never helps. I don't think failure to participate helps, especially when we enjoy this place so much. When I had to take disciplinary action against someone, I never discussed it with anyone other than the parties directly involved. I know this is a forum, not a job, but certain ethics still apply. We all want Bob back, but maybe we should reevaluate our approach. I guess that was more than two cents!Again disagree. First, some of us have heard from Bob AND the Mods. Second, it's not a "conspiracy theory" to ask your hosts for clarification on a rule which seems to be enforced unevenly and arbitrarily. Nobody is "whining." Most every post I've seen has been a respectful reflection and attempt to understand the situation so that we can "evolve."
Right now, I'm not concentrating on Bob's plight as much as I'm trying to figure out what kind of place I'm frequenting and, as @Bamaboots stated, whether or not my hosts want to treat me as an adult or as a child.
The punchbowl analogy isn't about Bob, it's about the blow to the community and whether the Mods give rat's butt about the folks that frequent their establishment.
Sent directly from my mind to yours.
