No obvious identifications as to the maker on this one. It's previous owner, the greatly esteemed @rclark, informed me that Brad Bowers identified it as a McLachlan.

Beautiful, Matt!! Do you or Rick know what told Bowers that it's a MacLachlan? The one I have came with the "corrugated" venting in the front of the sweatband.

Thanks Charlie.

I defer to @rclark to fill us in on the reasoning behind the Professor's diagnosis. I can't recall if Rick told me. No corrugation on the sweatband, though.

Doug, that is one fine hat. Hope you are doing well. I'm familiar with your pain. Got the Frankenstein scar and the titanium to prove it.
Thanks, Greg. Your Levine sure is a beauty. Sucks getting old, eh? Like my old Scoutmaster used to say on long hikes, "just one foot in front of the other...."

Woosh, he shoots, he scores!
Thanks, Perry! I think you'd beat me in a game of one on one.

I sure do like the color of that ribbon Doug. One fine Gannon for sure.
Thanks, Mike. I sure like that classy Slats "Playboy" you commissioned from NW Hats!

That, is a beaut.
Thanks, Jim. You know, a lot of the inspiration for this one came from your natural and dark moss Gannon fedoras.

Heading out under a kind of very light minty green Royal DeLuxe that started life as a homburg. In due time, it will be a homburg again. I swear it.

I throw in a few "because shadows" pics because... well... because shadows.

Have a happy evening.

I think it looks great as a fedora. It looks to me that whoever converted it did it right, rebinding the brim to not show the exposed stitch line normally not prominently featured when the brim is curled. That's what derailed my original plan of ironing out the curl from my Borden 'burg.

Thanks Moe.

Yeah... It is a beautiful fedora. Props go to @bond. His extraordinary work.

Ever since the 'burg bug seized me though, I have been dreaming to see it in that form. Of course... hat glutton that I am, I wish that I could have it both as a fedora and a homburg.

Dang hat physics not allowing it to be both at once...so go for the compromise and have the back brim flanged like a 'burg and leave the front as a snap brim like that short-lived fad in the thirties...the mullet hat!
