Mike, thanks. It is. Traded this one with Richard (Morgan).Mike did a super job on that Aristocrat Doug. Love the color, I assume it is a darker brown, kinda looks purple on my monitor.
OK, this is my new favorite of your conversions Terry. Love the tone of blue. You are an inspiration.
Living vicariously through your Milan David.
Pet, pet, pet, fondle.
Another spectacular bow from Mike. Filing it away to steal at a future moment.
Yay! Think I'll unbox mine to wear tomorrow. Or maybe on Whippet Wednesday.
That VS is a winner Bill.
Haven't seen this one in a while. Really love the classic lines.
Great one Karl. Cool to have a native Dutch brand.
Such a nice finish in the daylight Stefan. An American trade?
Alan, thanks. I really appreciate that.Beautiful hat, beautifully worn, beautifully photographed.
Merely "nice" as a Western, but wonderful as a Fedora. I'm not normally drawn to blue hats, but I'd wear that one happily. Strong work Sir!Almost finished with this Navy Blue 3X Resistol conversion. This is the hat that Michael R gifted to me. It started out as a Western. I'm reusing all that I can that was original to the hat. I just finished the brim binding. The hat ribbon isn't sewn on yet. I want to see if I can clean it up a bit first. But, this is what I have so far...
That is a super looking hat Terry. Fantastic job. A1 all the way. The nutria looks great too. You've really got this down now.Almost finished with this Navy Blue 3X Resistol conversion. I love your Gannon natural! It was a real fight in my mind to decide whether I wanted to go with your shark gills or the frayed bow in slate; seriously. Thanks Red. Glad I can provide a treat. Hats are to be worn. Good thing I can rotate thru them so that they do not wear out before their time. A half century ago folks must have gone thru a couple of hats a day with all of their physical efforts.
Thanks Doug.
A nod to both of you and Fruno's recent pics of the natural beaver felt hats of late. The pics have has me reaching for a similar felt for an errand to pick-up chain saw lube and bird seed.
Ahhhh, natural.
Best, Eric -
Thank you Jeremy!Gorgeous looking Homburg sir! Very fine indeed
Thanks Stefan!Classic and beautiful. Love it, John.
Thanks Red! I need to wear it more often.Mike did a super job on that Aristocrat Doug. Love the color, I assume it is a darker brown, kinda looks purple on my monitor.

Wow! Where did you come up with a presidential hat? Did you steal it from the Ronnie Library? Looks better on you than him I'm sure.Stetson Giant, formerly owned by a guy named Reagan

Fantastic hat, Red! Major coveting on this one!Didn't get these shots processed this morning. Wore my Knox-O-Liner to church this morning. Maybe even tomorrow too. Love this hat, need to tweak the back of the brim though, too much up-sweep.

Great looking hat and excellent colors.A lotta great looking lids on display. Everyone's looking dapper this wet and overcast Sunday afternoon, at least here in the Central part of Ohio. Wearing a recreased Stetson Nutria conversion, a gift from a Lounger, while I finish up the blue Resistol.
A little bit of Conway...

That is stunning, I can't believe how nice that is. I am a big fan of Resistol westerns and especially the red liner years. I was not sure about converting a Pendleton, but you have really done this hat justice! The color is actually prettier on it as a fedora. You went above and beyond with this one! Keeping the original parts is great, and retains a certain credibility.Almost finished with this Navy Blue 3X Resistol conversion. This is the hat that Michael R gifted to me.
