Cold morning and a midday like early September
Borsalino Qualità Extra Superiore size 6 (US / 3/8)
It is another "Corteccia" color with a fancy brown ribbon
The felt is very soft with a very short hair finish
It is more old than the Corteccia with shark gill ribbon
It come NOS from the Meran hats warehouse
I'm thinking I choose these colors, in my last purchase, because we are in autumn...enchantment of the first ray of sun in the morning
Buon Lunedì!
That ribbon is really special. Beautiful Borsalino
Nice Playboy Justin. Love the lines on the crown of this old boy.40s Playboy

Sorry for posting this Stagecoach conversion again. More of a straight on shot this time. This crown on this one is nice and straight all around.
The straight sides of that crown are sweet TJ. That hat looks good from all angles.
Great looking Knox Samuel. I have it's cousin, maybe just a shade darker. This color is nice and light.View attachment 89538 New/Vintage Knox Premier. I'm at a teacher development event. So I get to dress a bit more. Happy Monday!

Very nice Whippet Bob. Is the brim the same width as the Japanese Whippets we got?Recent production (Sovereign Quality) View attachment 89545 View attachment 89546 View attachment 89547 View attachment 89548 Stetson "Whippet."
The weave on that is so tight it looks like beaver felt. Love the brim curl.Off to the dentist! WooHoo! Right. VS Cuenca straw, llano weave. I'm trying to figure out the new updates to my phone. It changed everything. Dastards. Last sunny day for awhile. Felt weather promises for the near future.
.
We live vicariously through your sunny weather Moe.Hey all!
Another warm one. Should be great for all the NorCal farmers who haven't had thrir crop burned prematurely...better get it in before the rain comes!
Anyhoo, the Gitmoe up top.
Have a great day!

Absolutely stunning Stefan. A deep, rich brown with that longhair finish, looks like dark chocolate.Wasn't around yesterday but it was the same as today: Borsalino Ardilla longhair in brown.

By the way, I'm glad you're using your Olcott for your avitar, I love that hat
There's a few places where you can see the boats come and follow the fresh catch. Scheveningen, Hoek van Holland and Vlissingen come to mind.My favorite place when I was traveling through Europe was a day that I spent in Volendam Nethererlands. I enjoyed most all places that I visited, but there was something bout that place as the boats came in from the North Sea and we followed the fresh catch to the market and watched as they made us some fresh fish. I remember it was called Kibbeling, and it tasted so good. Great memory!

Looks good to me Serge.
Way cool!
Very coolI have been using this name around the internet for many years. Actually, my WWI ace that I specialize in is a guy named Ernst Udet. He was second to the Red Baron in victories at 62. He painted his Fokker DVII red to emulate his idol Richthofen. He ended up surviving the war and was kind of a rock star in Germany in the interwar years. He became one of Hitler's Luftwaffe Generals early on. He however was made a scapegoat for the failure of Fat Herman (Goering) not winning the battle of Britain and committed suicide in 1942. I'm a history geek of the Great War as well as OSU History.
