Yes, the button is mounted on the hat.

You could either use the sliding loop or pull it through and use the fixed loop to attach to a button on your shirt or jacket. I haven't tried it yet, but I could see that attaching it to the collar button of a button down shirt would make a very secure arrangement. Not sure how the cord would hang then, but one of these days I'll try it out.

Ooooh, très cool (I mean that seriously!).

Makes a beautiful hat "even more awesomer" as my son said to me this weekend about something (he is 6 before you judge my parenting skills [emoji16]).

These are some "dusty rose" variants. Basically red, white, brown mixtures. However, we have to consider light reflection, shadows cast by ribbon textures. There's little to no texture here other than the paint itself on white paper. Another consideration is aging in particular the ribbon and exposure to light. It's science and art mixtures when it comes to color and how we perceive it.

Hey folks!
Nice beginning to the week! A great show of felt so far on a cool grey Monday. I'll add this 20's Penney's Marathon Genuine Velour to the parade.

I love that hat. The front crease is awesome, Bob.

I really like the colors on this one David.

Two stunning vintage examples of great Stetson headwear!

While I prefer brim down, I think that lid could go either way and look great! It has gotten cold, hasn't it? It was supposed to hit 69 or 70F here yesterday and around 2 pm the clouds blew in and then the rain... maybe back to sunny and 75 by Saturday!

Nice!

Always a lady, and so well hatted!

Great look, Jeremy!

Fine hats indeed, Michael. I'm impressed with the collection of hats you've picked up! Both of these are hats I'd be proud to wear, and what a great ensemble you have going today, too!

Okay, I'll play! Here is a 1940s Royal Stetson Deluxe with the subject color brim. The close up binding shot shows the most accurate range of the color as it appears outside in overcast (perfect) lighting...

The second view is for our Bob. Poor Bob. Has it been a month yet?!
