It would seem I am a day late for straw hat day

For all of those who are interested. This is a panama, but I'm always on the look out for finer weaves and other fine straws.

A beautiful submission to our straw hat day parade. The lines are classic, and that ribbon and bow are the best!

A beautiful Tuesday morning finds me under an Anabaptist straw woven in the home of Pennsylvania Dutch folk and finished at the Stoltzfus owned Flying Cloud Hats in Ronks, PA.

When it hits 87 this afternoon I will probably be giving the pith helmet a work out, but for this nice morning I decided on a couple of hours of Royal Open Road,

Absolutely gorgeous morning in Funkytown today. It's supposed to be in the high 80s today in a preview of summer. I thought it would be a great day to pull out the Dalt-O-Liner.

Off for a 400 mile drive to northern Washington today. The weather today will be crappy, clearing up tomorrow and nice up in Wenatchee WA the rest of the trip. My lightweight Portis will fill in the felt duties. I'm bringing my NW Hats Panama for the 85 degree temps later in the week. For Grandpa's 100th Birthday party, the Mossant!

Hard to give advice without more info, and since you have an aversion to photos, that makes it more difficult. Is it sized, or a S. M, L type of hat? Does it have a leather or cloth sweatband? What brand is it?

As I am in SoCal, I must use the proper terminology.

Duuuuuuuude! This Portis Silver Beaver is like totally surfing my brain waves! It feels so gnarly and looks awwwwwwwwesome, braaah!
