Wow! Another clear number for the Lot Number thread. That is one cool lid my friend!!
Thanks again Red. I'll try and get the lot number added to that thread.

Great look! The finish shows up in the close up, sweeeeet! Contrasting ribbon? Something to highlight that finish will be nice. Is there a green tint to this hat?Still cold here. Biltmore Eleganza

Have a good Thursday,

Love that, hRm and your mother is cute as a button. You keep your big fingers off her pace maker settings and send her out here to California! She can sit on the porch with her feet up and read the paper and listen to the radio. It was 82 yesterday. We'll send her back when your weather is more hospitable.Late, late, LATE, but here we are. Mother and I on our way to a doctor's appointment. Checking her pacemaker, now 10 years old. I always ask the Doc for an extra remote for it, hoping to get some work out of her by turning it up a couple of notches when needed. We need to get the garage painted...
The snow of yesterday's storm was soaked and solid from the rain-then-freezing conditions. Notice my boot is on top of the frozen surface, without sinking in at all.
This is the last day wearing my Black Sheep Hat Works "Shake Down" before sending it back to Bob for a little TLC. ANOTHER favorite hat!! Mom is wearing a hat with bragging rights; a clearance item originally $40.00, for which she paid $4.00. That's MY Mom!!!

I almost wore the VS Silvermist, but went with the Gannon Black Cherry this morning.Look forward to tomorrow, bright and sunny....silverbelly weather!
Drool!!! It just keeps getting better and better, Bob! Sweet purchase! Thanks Red. Late 1930s maybe?
Just wonderful, David. What a treasure!Gotta love poorly written and photographed listings, Red [emoji1]
Today a well travelled Borsalino (after spending time with Lounger rabbit in Germany) - I'm not liking these dark mornings!
Cheers!
David
I love that one. The dark moss color is fantastic.Lovely morning to all. Vtg. Stetson Vogue is my hat choice this morning.
Best, Eric -

Thanks Red. None of the photos show the sheen of that I see in person. The current ribbon needs tightening, if nothing else, but I am thinking of putting in an order somewhere for ribbon as I have several hats now that could use a change. I think the green is primarily an artifact, it's pure silver gray in the sunlight. But looking against the grain, or indoors it can have a bit of a green tint.Great look! The finish shows up in the close up, sweeeeet! Contrasting ribbon? Something to highlight that finish will be nice. Is there a green tint to this hat?
Thanks Doug. The suit is a Faconnable. Old enough to be designed by the original designers, but too new to have been made in France. It was made in Italy. The only one I have that has the waistcoat with lapels.Wow, Michael! Another great hat AND a killer suit!
Thanks Roger. I like this suit a lot. The hat I think I'll come to like a lot once I get the minor kinks worked out.Fantastic ensemble. I really like that Biltmore, great finish and color!
Looks cool Bob. I knew you had one or more of these Biltmores. Where does it have the model name? My tag has only Eleganza and that is also what's on the liner tip. How wide is the brim on the one you are wearing today?NOS Canadian Biltmore "Reese" Eleganza finish. Biltmore called this color "Butterscotch."
