Today a due tribute to my host Steve, large and experienced hats collector of Central Europe

I have already expressed my, excellent, considerations on mass production of Tonak
Soon, it will the time for two beautiful hats that came with Steve

Late, late, LATE, but here we are. Mother and I on our way to a doctor's appointment. Checking her pacemaker, now 10 years old. I always ask the Doc for an extra remote for it, hoping to get some work out of her by turning it up a couple of notches when needed. We need to get the garage painted...

The snow of yesterday's storm was soaked and solid from the rain-then-freezing conditions. Notice my boot is on top of the frozen surface, without sinking in at all.

This is the last day wearing my Black Sheep Hat Works "Shake Down" before sending it back to Bob for a little TLC. ANOTHER favorite hat!! Mom is wearing a hat with bragging rights; a clearance item originally $40.00, for which she paid $4.00. That's MY Mom!!!

Thanks for the likes and comments on today's super Cav.

Must be an early Cav with that brim. Nice.

Bruno - from Brad's dating by liner thread, this one is early to mid 40's and has a 2 5/8 brim with the nicest Cavanagh edge I've yet seen.

Even better I paid about $80 on eBay and I think I was the first person to crease and wear it.

Cheers!

Holy finger freezing cold Batman. I may have to switch back to the fur hat, but for now the allure of the new Royal Stetson is too strong.

It photographs much more blue than I see it. In the house it appears almost a taupe.

Is it going to warm up soon?

Hope everyone is having a fine Wednesday.

Just think, unbearable heat and humidity is just around the corner. Better get your straws ready. And those Bermuda shorts:)

Thank you again for all the kind words yesterday. It was very encouraging -- I can't wait to start the next project! Today it's definitely too hot to wear the homemade piece again (mid 80's) so I'm back to the panama. I'm also not sure this jacket will last long... The sun is hitting the side of the building my desk is located in, and it's HOT:
