It has been here before, on the head of the Great Matt, but now it is on the other side of the USA. Mallory Homburg, c1950s (hopefully early). I am quickly completing (if that is ever possible) my Homburg collection. With this lovely rich brown I now have every scenario covered. Now on to my next covet/quest, all things blue. Thanks Matt, you are a gem.

Looks great on you Mike. Your collection seems to be growing exponentially at the moment.

Cold, grey and windy here today, just wore this cheap department store hat. When I bought it, the lady in the shop said "it's 100% wool" as if that's a good thing  Still, I think it's quite pretty and it serves me well for the kind of occasions when too flashy a hat is inappropriate, but I don't want to look completely boring either.

I think it looks great on you. I've seen a lot of wool lady's hats that I like a lot. As well as a few men's wools that I wouldn't complain about wearing in the least.

I decided I wanted to try on some different clothes after the snow started melting. So this Mallory showed up on my head.

Good afternoon folks. Early this morning I had to split and carry some wood. My vtg. Stetson Regis royal De Luxe was a perfect companion.

Back to work mid-morning wearing a Gannon Wanderer (blue with charcoal trimmings). I got home and snapped a pic of the blue hat.

Quick change as this late afternoon I am starting to grill a lamb roast in the windy, brisk weather wearing a Gannon Wanderer (charcoal felt and ribbon).

You are invited for roasted lamb and the fixing this evening. Best, Eric -

Wow... a beautiful page of photographs from Europe and from our west coast. The Mallory homburg and Stetson Flagship look great. Christina and Celia, you add such style to our thread. A pleasure to see you all.

I usually take a vacation from shaving and from taking hat photos over the weekend. But I am inspired by the renaissance of the homburg here. This hat was manufactured by Hat Corporation of America in the 1940s for Jack Henry in Kansas City. Jack Henry closed its doors in 2014 after more than 80 years in business. The Country Club Plaza opened in 1922 with a design inspired by Seville architecture. It is considered to be the first shopping plaza in the world designed for patrons arriving by automobile.

cheers!
Alan

That ribbon and binding are just delightful, Alan. Just a superb looking hat.

75 degrees three days ago, 20 with fresh snow and a very brisk wind today. Stetson Harris Tweed Flat Cap, earflaps down mode, for a little snow shoveling.

Great looking suit Michael. The color is so bright and summer like. Great finish on that Mallory velour.

Another beautiful Homburg in the parade! Love that liner logo. And like all of your hats, it is like new. Impressive Alan.
