What a great family picture David. I like the snap on that brim, sweet!
Give ol' Pearl a pat for me, David. Are you on the Logan's Run set?
A lovely trio, indeed! (Although Pearl's white gloves may be the winning piece!)

Everyone having a fine weekend?

Aside of the great hat you share on a daily basis, your photos are always a joy. I especially love the angle with the tall pines! You are a treasure Eric.Dog walk this morning in the breezy 15'F temps. A Gannon Wanderer (charcoal felt w/frayed ribbon) was my hat of choice.
Home and splitting a small amount of wood into kindling (fire starter). My vtg. Stetson OR De Luxe kept my axe and I company.
Best, Eric -
Yes, I would like to "feel the felt". Great Champ, looks to be in great condition.Vintage '40s Champ for me today.

Thanks Red. The Mallory is a fairly unique felt, in my collection at least. And since you said to keep them coming, it turned into a two stingy day, as opposed to too stingy,That Mallory has a great finish, love the band as well. I am also in lust of that coat. Keep em coming!
And tomorrow is the big Hurling competition...and we're not talking Irish field hockey! Is there some sort of sporting contest today?
Curling championships, maybe?
Beautiful hat! In a former life, I was a wine buyer. One of the very best wines I ever brought into the shop was a red from Ribera del Duero that ran $14. Other bottles ran to $400.

A Resistol Alpha from whatever time a hat like that cost $10.50.

And the reason for the change is that I needed a hat to go with the Brooks Brothers overcoat I found at a thrift this morning.
