At last I can wear a hat in my walk home
In recent weeks it was difficult for low temperatures
Today show is one of the oldest hats in my possession and also one that I particularly like wearing
Meer (the name of the hat shop) is the trademark for a hat produced by Thibet (France)
Felt is a mixture of wool and fur and finishes make me date it to the thirties or maximum forty
Touch the felt is rough, very malleable has a fantastic fit and can be shaped at will
Today the temperature is very pleasant and the cold is in the doldrums, but not for long!
Have a nice day!
Thanks for the likes of yesterday for the Lock&Co.
The photographs were not that great .... my battle with technology is still going on
Everybody already done said something similar.
The punch in my face that hat just delivered has given me a concussion. I am now going to urgent care for medical treatment.early 1940s Vita Felt Stratoliner

Good choice for a first hat. Now, go out and buy more! It's an Akubra Bogart. A choice informed by this forum.
Beautiful Strat Ant! The color is rich and striking. Did they come both lined and unlined? I usually see the former on the lounge.early 1940s Vita Felt Stratoliner

Now that's a good looking hound. Great hommie, Matt.
^^What Greg said! Like Sis too.
You know I love a man in a homburg, but the dogs trump you today I'm afraid, fantastic!
Love the dogs.Great hat also.
Happy Homburg Tuesday! Isn't there a book called The Well Hatted Hound? If not, you should write it!
You are ROCKING the Resistol, Matt! All great, but the second photo really classic. Keep trying, but you'll never beat Maisy and Arby for cuteness. (But why the long faces?)
Any hound that will let you put a fedora on its head is exceptional. Arby was waiting to wear that fantastic Homburg, it matches his fur.

I love that one, Daniele! I like how the color changes with the lighting... from black, to dark navy blue, to royal blue, to almost indigo or a very blue-purple color. Excellent bash on that one, too! Keep warm until the sun returns some warmth. I was in Aviano, and Venice, Italy in February several years ago and I know how cold it can be!At last I can wear a hat in my walk home

Thanks Greg! It has always been among my favorites & has been thru a lot with me, so it got the nod for today. The beaded hatband is among several items made by an Indian friend whom I didn't meet until she was close to 80 yrs old. She's gone now & I miss hearing her stories. I've lost track of her daughter. The Rand gets my vote. Love that band with it.
Thanks Red!That midnight blue color really looks great in the sunlight. A beautiful hat Daniele!
Charlie tech made me angry sometimesTechnology will lose the war, Dan! WOW, is all I can say. Well, not ALL I can say, but this special lid has left me close to speechless.
Aviano was the airforce base in which my father was during the WWIII love that one, Daniele! Aw thx Harv.Great looking hat. Nice proportions for your face, E.
Again, another fantastic blouse
It's a very rounded flange with a subtle swoop, very feminine. I like it.I don't know what about it it is exactly, but I really like the shape of the brim on that one. Nice flowery blouse again too.
Thank youWonderful!
Thx red! And a happy belated birthday.Super look this morning. Love the hat color.

Nonetheless...
That is a beautiful hat and the pairing with blouse is perfection.
The blouse, by the way, looks like a field of poppies painted by Van Gogh. STUNNING!!!
It's gonna be a black hat day.
