Nice brown. Great name!

Yup, it still looks good :)

Anyone who manages to look that stylish in a snowstorm gets my vote!

Thank you. My daily hat choice has been lacking here recently I'm afraid, mainly because I've been wearing one of 3 similar furry hats every day. They say temperatures will be above zero again next week, but then they said that about this week last week. I'm really sensitive to extreme temperatures so the furs are pretty useful. My doctor advised me to avoid the cold, I asked her if she'd been outside recently. I hope to be venturing out in some stylish hats again soon, I miss my brims....

Lovely lids on BOTH of you, Christina. I hope the trip to the clothing store was fruitful. It's great that you two hang out together

Especially the first photo, it's easy to see you two are siblings, just from your ears! I wish I had a sister like you.

Going with the Royal Stetson today. A light tan felt with some light undertones of blue/gray???-ish character. Not taupe, but a definite tan color with the undertones there if you look closely. It was advertised as gray with a black ribbon, but it's definitely tan with a brown ribbon, my first back bow number.

I tightened up the pinch and made longer side dents:

And here is our new addition (as of Sunday night) to the family... View attachment 65883 Gabe has decided to name him Arbogast after the P.I. portrayed by Martin Balsam in Psycho. Arby hasn't tried on a hat yet, but he will.
His sister Maizie already has a hankering for THE POLAR.

But, Arby kind of looks like a homburg fellow to me.

Happy Tuesday!

You are ROCKING the Resistol, Matt! All great, but the second photo really classic. Keep trying, but you'll never beat Maisy and Arby for cuteness. (But why the long faces?)

Any hound that will let you put a fedora on its head is exceptional. Arby was waiting to wear that fantastic Homburg, it matches his fur.

At last I can wear a hat in my walk home :)
In recent weeks it was difficult for low temperatures
Today show is one of the oldest hats in my possession and also one that I particularly like wearing
34h98y1.jpg

Meer (the name of the hat shop) is the trademark for a hat produced by Thibet (France)
25hzfwk.jpg

Felt is a mixture of wool and fur and finishes make me date it to the thirties or maximum forty
kbx9c.jpg

Touch the felt is rough, very malleable has a fantastic fit and can be shaped at will

Today the temperature is very pleasant and the cold is in the doldrums, but not for long!

Have a nice day!

Thanks for the likes of yesterday for the Lock&Co.
The photographs were not that great .... my battle with technology is still going on:rolleyes:
