Very nice , i like the style from the 30´s. Is this a Austrian hat ?
Thanks Red!That ribbon makes a real statement Moe! I like it.
Nice hat. I think that is the first Morrison I've seen mentioned here. My first hat of modern times was a Morrison. It has a 2 1/4" overwelt brim. And is currently awaiting a new ribbon. I always thought it was a nice hat and was kind of puzzled that more of them aren't seen around here.Morrison "Famous Fifteen"
I'm very impressed with the felt on this hat, and it is definitely not lacking in crown height. Just a few stains on the hat that seem to be a little stubborn, but other than that I couldn't be more pleased.

Very nice Fed and the hat looks good too!Well, we got stuff done around the house, then out to run errands.... then off to see Hidden Figures (good movie!). I brought out the Royal Stetson. I gave it some steam last night to work on the front snap brim, tighten the front pinch and lengthen those side dents. I doubt this one has been worn much, and with the front brim up when it was. Triple stitch overwelt; my first back-bow lid. MrsFed wore her stingy brim Stetson Royal Deluxe.
I imagine this is the first drop of rain this Stetson has seen in a ling time, if ever it has...
We love our hats!
Thanks Michael! I honestly had never heard of them before seeing this hat. However, I am more than impressed with the quality of this hat. Do you have any idea if they were available nationally or was Morrison a regional manufacturer?Nice hat. I think that is the first Morrison I've seen mentioned here. I really had no luck at all finding out about the company. Mine had the same logo on the liner and the same Morrison stamp on the sweat, but it wasn't a Famous 15. There was no store stamp. I wonder if it was a private label hat for a Morrison stores? I think I found only one other example that had sold in that area of time, about 5 years ago. Mine had obviously seen a lot of wear judging by the sun fading, but the felt is still in excellent condition. I really need to get a ribbon and put it back into service. I always enjoyed wearing it.Thanks Michael! I honestly had never heard of them before seeing this hat. However, I am more than impressed with the quality of this hat.
