I woke to a balmy 44 degrees today. The big melt began yesterday. So tomorrow, the boy's 5 day weekend will end. 5 days!!!!! [emoji53]

That's what you get when you live in a 497 square mile city that has one or two plows and sanders. Busses can't hit the neighborhoods. (Of course, when I was a kid I used to walk 23 miles to and from school in raging blizzards and uphill both ways.)

Dobbs today. No price designation, just "Dobbs".

Here's hoping that today, y'all have more fun than ya can shake a stick at. (And just for the halibut... etymology: http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-sha2.htm )
No more need be said. :)

I fear I am under attack by some form of winter gunk. Shooting pains in most appendages, fever, delirium. Anton Peschel

In person it appears to my eyes to be more olive than the photos pick up.

Hope your day is going better than mine is so far.

It is some pretty awesome felt. You have a big brimmed model don't you?

Michael
Both of my APDs are short brimmed, the older one, made for Disney in the 50's has a 2 1/8" brim, the other is a 60's model with 1 3/4". The older one has slightly nicer velour, but they are both very well nade hats. Can't remember off the top of my head if they made their own felt. I bet mayser does!

Hey everyone!
Many thanks for the likes and kind words on recent posts.
Today I'm wearing this Resistol 3X beaver "Top Rail" that I converted a while back. Also the first wearing of this like new Avirex G1 goatskin that I found in a thrift store a couple days ago. The color on this jacket looks deep deep dark brown in some lighting situations, black in others. Fits like a glove!
