Thanks Cristina. I just discovered the coat and shoes yesterday. I have a small clothes room and a closet, but I'm running out of space. Ha ha. Time to thin the herd or I may be needing the shed.

Thanks, Matt. I'd say it is a slightly cool shade of grey - maybe a touch of blue, but probably not as much in natural light as it looks in the photo.

Yes, the pin is a vintage TWA Stratoliner. Not original to the hat of course, my other Stratoliner has the "correct" vintage DC3 pin.

Red - It is a 50's hat I believe. Maybe 60's. I still can't tell with Borsalinos unless it has some outstanding feature of the day.

Don't know anything about the particular hatter but "Frank McCloud" was Bogart's character name in Key Largo. Totally unrelated but hey..... I like it!
