Our year-end festivities are wrapping up this week, and today's challenge was to represent your favorite superhero at the office. Since I think our security personnel would frown on my showing up dressed and armed as the Punisher, I figured I'd go for the mild-mannered Clark Kent look instead. My Stetson Saxon helps hide the lack of hair. :)

Well, "Clark," you knocked this one out of the park! Great look!

Chamuco – Nice colors on that Strat.

Insolent – Great hat. Love that color and the leather.

RJR – The Standard.

Kuki – Looking very fuzzy this morning.

Strapped – I know what you mean about the lack of hair!!

My Gannon this morning.

I really envy your tall crown, wide brimmed fedoras, compay, and this Gannon really fits the bill! Que maravilloso!

Missed the fun yesterday to engage in some not-so-much-fun.

Today I'm wearing the Resistol Beaver Twenty homburg that Rick directed my way. Please ignore the small dent on the right front. It merely represents the way I feel after the last 36 hours [emoji3].

Everyone is looking grand on this fine Wednesday morn'. Here's to a swell day!

P. S. Hope you are feeling better, Doug.
You are the biggest advocate for the oft-maligned derbies, bowlers and Homburgs.... and you wear them with such style and boldness. My hat's off to you, sir!

Are we going to have to wrap you in cotton or bubble wrap Doug? Take it slow and easy. My back is hamburger, I feel your pain (pretty much daily), sending healing prayers your way!
Clearly, right? LOL. I'm like, WTH??? the ulcer wasn't enough for one week, LOL??? The thing is my back hasn't gone "out" like this in years. It brought me to my knees and scared the crap out of MrsFed. Seriously, WTH?

All I can do is laugh at it. Getting mad just makes it worse. I guess my back is telling me to take a day off... :)

It's why I went back to college... I couldn't work on cars anymore. You wouldn't think desk work would aggravate my back, right? LOL.

Oh, Red, I'll take the cotton for the first layer and then the bubble wrap, ok? And then send over some cheerleaders from OSU... yeah, that's the ticket.... and a massage tech too. :D

I used to work in a machine shop until I went back to college in 2009, graduating finally after 35 years in the working world in 2012. I just bent over wrong to pick up a pen, and POW! After lifting 100 pound parts all day! It reminds me of a comedian I heard recently who tells of sitting on the couch and moving to pick up a beer and "I sprained my fat". I can relate my friend!

Stupendous! I didn't even notice the dent at first glance.

Another little known fact about acetaminophen is that you shouldn't drink alcoholic beverages if you take it regularly--a prolonged combination of alcohol and acetaminophen can cause permanent (in some cases fatal) damage to your liver and/or kidneys. Just a bit of medical advice from ol' Dr. Zombie.
Its important to save my liver for Tequila and Bourbon.
