Hey folks!
Digging the show of lids on a fine sunny Sunday.
Tosay I'm wearing my own handiwork, moe-riginal No.7 in Granite Winchester rabbit. I haven't worn it much, since shortly after I made it I got the brim wet and some dye bled from the felt through the binding in spots. I've been meaning to redo it, but after the huge pain in the butt it is to do ( especially when one can't see well ) it has just sat. Other than the spots, I think it's one of my better bindings. Perhaps it can just be "character".

My amateurish offering to the daily party.

Man... That is cool that you tried your hand at making your own. Some day I'd like to try that.

It looks great. Glad that its run in with the weather didn't consign it to the shelf for eternity.

Enjoy

It looks great from here Moe. The binding and ribbon look very good.

Absolutely! I like the flat brim. Is this style attributed to an earlier era in Europe? I watched the netflix series, Foyles War, and most hats were flat brimmed....during WWII and post war
I wonder that too. Love that show! I'll have to do some image research based on wartime fashions during the Blitz. Maybe some inspiration there!

Very impressive!! I like it. You and you alone can only see the flaws in such a creation. Just like a rock chip on my Mercedes, it is all I see when looking at it.
