So many great hats yesterday and a helluva start to this Saturday. Thanks to all for the likes and comments.

Looking good BB! The hat goes great with the goat, & the red shirt sets them both off.

Thanks, Hurricane. I guess I'll leave the Grecian formula on the shelf.

Bama, that Stetsonian is superb!

Thanks, tommy. Another stunner from you. A color combo I keep looking for in vintage.

Good looking,great bash.

Thanks, Bob.

Really super Stetsonian Greg, in perfect shape!

Appreciate it, Red. Hope you are doing well.

Rained overnight. Still a drop here and there.
Yesterday the high temperature was 33°f. Today it is supposed to be near 60°f. The weather here is odd.
Looks like a perfect coat/hat combination to me (it would be nice to see the coat as a whole).
Some say trench-coat plus fedora/trilby is a cliché; I think most of us would say it is classic.

This won't be enough hat, jacket or boots when the temperature starts dropping, the snow starts droppng and the wind heads toward gale force. But then again I may not leave the house after that snow starts.

A lot of fine hats here already today. Especially for a Saturday. I thought most of you guys hung out here when you were at work so that you didn't have to, you know, work?

Have a great weekend.

Sunny and cold Saturday
The morning is spent looking at the works of my mother-in-law who was a painter in Italy in the years 60 and 70.
They have been removed from the attic and now has in place a thorough cleaning for a future publication.

Happy Saturday to all!

Looking very stylish, but oh boy, fedora and trenchcoat. Did you get 'the comment'?

Beautiful hat, gorgeous lining... what does the "elastic" part exactly entail? (sorry if you've already answered it elsewere!)
Thanks! I think it's related to comfort. The sweatband does have a reed on the outside and the felt is fairly light and less rigid. Stiff Felts were losing market to Soft Felts so the companies were always trying to make them more comfortable and lighter weight.

Wonderful hat Daniele. Is it usual to have contrasting ribbons or does it indicate that one of the ribbons has been replaced? Yesterday there were a lot of hats with contrasting ribbon on this thread!
Cristina in the Borsalino production, on the paper label under the sweatband, usually when the are contrasting ribbon you find the color of the main ribbon marked near the felt color.
I have no informations for others hats producers, sorry
Your "Sábado (the same world is used in my dialect) sombrero" is fantastic!
