Good morning Loungers. In the -4'F morning weather I was out filling bird feeders. It does not take a lot of time so I boldly chose to wear a homburg. Brrr.

On the positive side, I wore a inky blue vtg. Stetson Homburg.

Esther – Indeed a great bow. Love the work you do.

Danielle – Madosca, quel cappello e’ sopra la luna (over the moon in English). Fantastico.

MM25 – Beautiful hat.

Hato – You inspired me yesterday so I wore my Caxton today. You went classic today. Nice.

MM – Wow. The crown, the color: superior.

1mach – Super color. I love those deep brown hats. Looks like a gorgeous felt.

David – Beautiful Cavanagh. Looks like it actually has some brim to it.

RJR – VS for Very Sharp hat.

Mayser – Really loved your hat yesterday.

Strapped – OK. How many Christmas ties do you have. I think I have one.

Casechopper – As usual, a fantastic ensemble. Lookin’ sharp.

Balding – And I thought it was cold here in Massachusetts. Beautiful homburg.

Knotten – Love that triple stitched brim. Looks awesome.

If you will indulge me, my son was wearing a great hat today as he graduated from the University of Florence (Italy). Better than my Caxton, anyway.

What a beautiful hat, Daniele. Enjoyed learning of the tradition as well.
Thanks! This is the day of sweets

A beautiful hat for the festivities, Daniele... Striking contrast between the felt and bow. Just lovely. Have a great holiday.
Thanks again Matt. It is not an holiday for the nation only in places where Saint Lucy has this function

In our house, it was called "Little Christmas." We would go to bed and leave our shoes outside our bedroom door to find them filled with fruit and other treats in the morning.
Jim here it quite the same even if the tradition is now more oriented to Christmas

On the positive side, I wore a inky blue vtg. Stetson Homburg.

A very elegant homburg. I like the color so much

I really love learning about the traditions of my fellow international loungers! The hat is just...crazy wonderful. That finish is about as pettable as any you have shown us. I love it!
Red this kind of hat are really rare here, since they had not a great success.
I like them and ...to be continued

It is hard to capture black. I tried to get a better shot for you, along with the sweat marking. Liner is a bit yellowed on this one.
A really interesting Borsalino. Some others pictures will help to appreciate it more ;)

A balmy 7 degrees here the last I looked. Me, dressed to run the 60 ft and get something out of my car.

I stopped to take pictures on the way. You may sense my unease with the state of my dress.

I will definitely be making additions to it if I talk myself into going for a walk. For now it's back to making chicken soup.

Between catching up on a couple of pages of hat photos that is.

You know Adrian, I understand your son and his love for Art History.
In my younger years, in another age, I studied Modern Italian Literature at the University of Padua and I passed with honors all of art history exams
I also understand why your son has studied in Florence .......
The road of Western history goes even for Italy and Florence is a city that is an open air museum with one of the most important heritage in art history in Italy
