Cristina, Thanks! I failed to mention this is new Ribbon/Bow by Optimo Chicage based on the original. Yes it appears to be 3 pleats from a wider ribbon. Here is the before and after.Beautiful "meliert" felt and great shape. How is the center of the bow done, three pleats of a wider ribbon? In any case looking cool as always.
Perfect for this cold "heather weather," Steve. Exquisite lid, sir!O.F. Hess "Praga", this hat is from my 2015 Czech find. O.F. Hess was a hat company located in Bohemia Czechoslovakia (now Czechia) that didn't survive much past the end of WWII.
Yikes! It seems I have missed roughly 2600 posts in this thread!
Crazy busy time of year around here, but here are some of the hats I've had the pleasure to wear lately. Thanks for permitting me the indulgence...
Cool hat, maybe Giorgio Cellini just sounds stylish being Italian and all.Giorgio Cellini, as far as I'm aware, is the name of hats made by Biltmore for Henry the Hatter in Detroit. Despite being made for a place in Detroit, its still a Canadian hat. I got mine from an online auction. As far as I can tell, it's about the same as a Royal Biltmore with a different liner. Not too sure I'd pay the price of one new,(I'm pretty sure they still are sold online) but it's definitely worth what I paid. It's survived everything from a little rain to being outdoors during a tornado.
Also, I have no clue who Giorgio Cellini is.
Love me sum back bows! and an SLS to boot. Nice hat, I like it!Another Stephen Stetson day !

Yes, and Steve would be collecting the hats they sported. Not the swastika stuff though...I get that at least as often as I get called Indy.
But hey, Nazis dressed well. Too bad they were, ya know....nazis.
Now we are talking! I'll show this post to my wife. Do I order from your regular website? Or send a link for the correct one... You are stunning as usual young lady!Stark contrast to yesterday I know
For those who are interested in that biiiig bow.
I really love learning about the traditions of my fellow international loungers! The hat is just...crazy wonderful. That finish is about as pettable as any you have shown us. I love it!Foggy and cold for a special day in Verona
Today every child found the gifts when awake.
This is Santa Lucia tradition here in town and surrounds and in Siracusa (Sicily), more stronger than Christmas
For the celebration a Guerra 1855
It is the brother of the yesterday's hat. The color change
It is made of the same fur felt color is cream
Brown ribbon is in contrast with the fancy color of the felt
A special hat for a special day
Buon Martedì
Here my personal gift

The shortcrust pastry are the "special" for this day
The round plate contains the"modern" variety of sweets....when I was a child it was more poor
Tangerines, dates, dried figs, almonds (mandorlato) and a small chocolate bar. Nothing more
Spectacular Dobbs Harv! That brim is something really special!Dobbs 15

VS today.
Nice Dobbs, the feather is so festive looking! The office has been so busy that I can't keep up with all of the fantastic posts in this thread. Top shelf hats in all of the pics I've managed to see.
Another work-from-home Tuesday for me, but a potential conference call with a client via Skype gives me an excuse to put on a tie and pretend to be a professional. Topped with a Dobbs 707.
Great looking Akubra. I can't quite make out the unit patch on that A-2 jacket. WWII?Akubra Campdraft
