One of the few places where my hat collection crosses paths with Steve's is this old Austrian fedora. I purchased this hat from our absent member Mario, who had given it his signature sharp crease and steep front crown. I've never changed it, nor do I wear it as well as he did.

Great hat, Alan, from my Country. Here in Austria you don´t find vintage hat. And if i find one he is too small for me :-(

Swamped at the office this week, but was able to skim over the posts. Sorry if I missed something I should have replied to...

Yesterday I grabbed the LL Bean/Stetson Moose River for a rainy day. This morning I picked up the lonely Stetson Downs for the ride to work. They're talking cold and clear for awhile but possibly snow down to the valley floor by next Monday/Tuesday.

Oh, for sunny days like those in these pictures...

Beauteous. Reminds me of one of mine. Such a lovely color. And it looks great on you.

Thank you! Your bowler is looking rather dandy as well.

That is the right homburg and a righteous homburg. Well worn!

Same to you -- I love the pronounced curve of your brim. It's like your lid is raising the people's eyebrow at me!

The look: flawless.

As is yours! Brilliant wide brim on you today.

I've got the sun today, but it's definitely now shirt sleeve weather. Hope the busy work isn't just busywork.

Hey all!
Beautiful warm day. Perfect for short sleeves and a lightweight Como.

I'd better put on some sunscreen too!
Have a great day.

Nice hat. Is that a whipstitched brim edge?

Alan, Great to see the Otto Matt! Not sure if I told you but I found him in the 1926 Austrian Hat Industry Guide.

Page 52 (see hand written 6/6 32? next to his name)
