I could put this one in the "new hats" or the "Akubra Overload" or the "fresh from the elements" threads, but I will put it here for today.

Uh!
PERFECT!
Alan, I'd pay to see your collection. Pretty sure I could get some tax refund on it, inspirational trip or something :)

First day working in my own fully finished atelier. It's a dream come true.
I don't think I've ever been this happy before.

Congratulations! If you look this good everyday, you should have a steady stream of customers. Had to look up atelier! A new word for my vocabulary. Great color!

A great, huge hat Harv. I think if a wind comes up you'll be flying nunning it.

Love the colors on this one RJR. A winner.

Happy Tuesday.

Great news and great looking hats so far on the Lounge today.

Supposed to be in the mid-seventies today. So my head will need A/C. Plus, I still have derby brain (wonder if an antibiotic will help...). Wearing an old Dunlap vented number.

Its deep blackness has kind of faded some, perhaps from someone storing it in a bright room. I dig it nonetheless.

Have a swell day, everybody. [emoji111]

Love it. Mid-70s seems like a distant dream here already. I'm going to get my ventilated derby out soon in any case.

Sun, wind and cold!
First day of real winter with some Celsius degrees below zero

I take a little walk in the first afternoon with another Panizza from Ghiffa period

It is in deep grey or anthracite fur soft felt

The proportions are very similar to the one of yesterday, except the crown a little higher

One of my favourite Panizza for a magnificient light

Thanks for the appreciations for the medium grey Panizza
This could be the week dedicated to one of the best felts producers in Italy :)
Beautiful Hat Daniele. Goes well with the Loden. Is that a jacket or a coat?

I wish I had had my camera yesterday to get some shots of the Champ that I was wearing when it was in a thoroughly soaked condition. It did keep my head dry.

Thanks Michael.
This loden is a coat made in Austria
The Panizza production (in Ghiffa) was so traditional and in the meantime so elegant

May I say Michael that your dress style is so European...and a little bit dandy ;)
I like it very much

Thank you very much Daniele. I think your hats and clothes are always very elegant.

It sounds like our weather is very similar today. Some degrees below zero Celsius and sunny. I wore Loden yesterday in the rain, and I think I will wear it today in the sun.

I believe this one was made in Germany of Karlin Fabric. I have a duffel coat as well that was made in Austria and is very heavy. Now it is, unforunately, too large for me. Someday I will cut it down.

I kept today's Borsalino in the picture so as not to stray off topic.

Thanks,
Michael
