Thanks for the positive thoughts everyone. We'll have a better idea of what's going on after our Friday check-up.
awesome Greg ... it's opposite day and I f'n hate that horrible hat
Though I'm mostly nonsense (see multitasking below!) this hat certainly isn't. I see a certain severity in this sharksgill wormser.

As always, Alan, beautiful vintage hat and accompanying clothes. You beam "Gentleman."Looks like I have a couple of days left to wear my feathers up top before I switch to wearing them stuffed inside jackets.
Nice, Bob. I especially like this one.NOS Canadian Biltmore "Reese" Eleganza finish. Biltmore calls the color "Butterscotch."

Great Wormser! One of the finest of the lesser known hat companies.... In my opinion of course. I haven't had one that wasn't top notch in quality.Though I'm mostly nonsense (see multitasking below!) this hat certainly isn't. I see a certain severity in this sharksgill wormser.

You look good in that Hommie, Blue. Medical problems, been down that road, prayers and good thoughts to you.Howdy folks. Haven't been motivated to snap photos of myself wearing hats lately -- a bit of a medical hurdle in the household robbed me of my enthusiasm (please direct some prayers and positive energy to my wife and I). Anyway -- back in the saddle this morning. '50's Stetson St. Regis:

Wow, what a great hat! And a great look!Howdy folks. Haven't been motivated to snap photos of myself wearing hats lately -- a bit of a medical hurdle in the household robbed me of my enthusiasm (please direct some prayers and positive energy to my wife and I). Anyway -- back in the saddle this morning. '50's Stetson St. Regis:
We are now! haha. Excellent kachina sox, BobAre we showing socks now?
as someone who has struggled with and continues to battle addiction... has had close friends die from it and family members who are at war with it today ... I did not take offense and want to personally give you my blessing to say whatever the f#$* you want on this forumSomething has been gnawing at me since my post here http://www.thefedoralounge.com/index.php?posts/2166532 earlier today.
It may very well be that I am engaging in a bit of scrupulosity here, but I regret my glib treatment of addiction in my post. My family and countless others have been (and are being) scourged by various real addictions to substances and other self-destructive behaviors. And many of us have lost loved ones and friends from those addictions.
So... I just want to apologize for my tongue in cheek treatment of a very serious matter. I hope that my jackassery did not cause anyone any emotional pain.
The enjoyment I derive from collecting, and seeing you folks collect and create, such wonderful headwear are good things that I should not have equated with addictions that devastate the lives of so many.
That said...
Be kind. Be well. Have fun.
And thanks for bringing so much fun to my days.
Are we showing socks now?
